worked ok but limited content for kids. main issue was when I tried to cancel my subscription all of a sudden the app doesn't work well, and clicking the small cancel under the numerous offers was not working and made it frustrating. I will never use it again just because of how painful this is and how you get the best offers only after trying to cancel.

My friend and I both purchased a one year subscription. I have mixed emotions about this app. I feel the design could be more user-friendly, like the Breethe app. I have trouble finding what I am looking for and the search option doesn't work well. My friend has more access to content on the app because she has an iPhone. She has the option to choose between two different people when listening to one meditation. Jay Shetty almost yells in his recordings and has controversy surrounding him.

I like this app, it's helped me so much during those restless nights to sleep. HOWEVER, what I don't like is that so many of the stories and music are becoming premium only! My favorite two that have been almost the only ones to effectively help me, "Blue gold" and "symphony of rain". Now I've always praised and recommend Calm to friends and family, as well as to stay it's better than headspace in terms of general access to its users but that might change with the direction I see this app headin

Most of the time, the sleep stories do help me fall asleep, but I wish they would have more sleep stories from the more popular narrators... for example, Matthew McConaughey. His is the best sleep story imo, but it's the only story he narrates. The app also isn't very user friendly when trying to find specific genres... like kids sleep stories. It took me several tries to figure out how to find all the kids sleep stories rather than just a few that are related to ones my child has listened to

Pretty obnoxious start. For an app that is going to have stressed out and anxious people, you'd think it would do better. First thing after signing in what you're greeted with is random background noise from their 'scenes'. I didn't pick this, and I don't want it. Had to Google how to even stop it because it's not part of their player. Next getting into anything takes far too many clicks. If I click into something, let me play it without having to click 4 more things first. So obnoxious

Really odd problem - I use the sleep sounds when I travel to replicate a sound machine I have at home. Specifically I use 'ocean waves'. It helps block my tinnitus. However, during the night the app switches to a different sleep sound, one which has a ringing bell. This always wakes me up. I have to pick up my phone, switch back to the 'ocean waves' and try to go back to sleep. Is there a setting I've checked? I've looked all over. Really like the app, but this makes it just un-useable to me

It's amazing how easily tentative sleep becomes an expectation. Still haven't finished any sleep story. Does as advertised with much matching selected stories. But, there's selective classes in meditation, gratitude, classes in broader meditation, meditation for anxiety, depression...and still more. Worth it! Self care is also possible with guidance. I'm new to this app, but got more utility from this app than most apps can offer.

Stories are great, interface has one serious flaw I love the sleep stories and find them generally effective but the app requires too much interaction in the middle of the night. I'm trying to stay drowsy so I can get back to sleep but the app wants to give me a pep talk, aske for feedback, and make me click through multiple bright screens to get a story to play. It's very counterintuitive to the stated goal.

I wanted to give this a try for free to learn value/capabilities, but the major of options selected said upgrade, upgrade, upgrade to unlock. Before I'm willing to give money for more, you need to prove it's basic version offers value first. All features for free need to be grouped together, avoiding the constant annoyance of selecting features that reply pay more. Was excited to try, but will look elsewhere. I'm not against subscriptions, but too many promises without proving first is annoying

Got the app because of an ad with an audiovisual meditation which they don't even have. Most of the soundscapes for some reason have daytime bird sounds that are jarring to the brain when trying to fall asleep so I only use a couple of them. And to top it off, following the instructions to cancel the service goes to the Google play store so I can't even figure out how to unsubscribe.
