2024-11-26 | Michael Meier | Really motivating and never boring with regularly changing exercises as you master them. I wish there was a way to make some of the exercises easier tho for beginners. stretching exercise says to reach down and lay your hands flat on the floor while keeping legs straight. meanwhile I can't even reach my toes...
2024-11-20 | Heather Malmberg | This is a GREAT app! I am in-process of recovering from significant chronic health issues, so had become very weak as well as having a lower exercise tolerance than in times past. The app found me a doable level to start and provided incremental enough increases for me to actually continue and make gains. It is a functional, no-ad app that is actually very helpful -- sometimes difficult to find in paid apps and almost impossible to find in a free version! My humble thanks to the developers!
2024-10-20 | Alfred Baker | This app is the closest thing I have found to being guided by a trainer. The profile setup was easy, and I think the questions were great! The program it recommended has been exactly what I've needed. I'm more flexible than I have been in years, and my movement feels lighter. Thank you all who made this app. It's the best I've ever used.
2024-09-25 | Maggie O. | Honestly, most workout apps are terrible. I love that this one takes into consideration your current body strength while also giving options to adjust the difficulty as you get better or to stay at the same difficulty. I like the flexibility of the app for changing the type of workout mid set as well. The fact that it lets you choose what equipment you have is amazing as well. It's overall very well thought out and very user friendly.
2024-09-15 | Seven Slots | It's ok. It's a workout app, and it gives a (mostly) applicable workout for what workout equipment you have to use. I say mostly because it threw in "partner assisted workouts" when I had not selected it. Also it gave me exercises that I'm not able to do because I'm not limber enough yet (one thing I'm trying to work on). I had to modify some of the stretches, and at the end of one workout, it said I mastered that exercise/stretch... I'm far from mastering it. I'd say it's ok, but it needs work.
2024-07-11 | Shalaw Majeed | I've always struggled to plan my continuous progression in my Calesthenics journey (probably because I'm a perfectionist) but more importantly, I never found an app to do that with ease, until I came across Calistree. this app is amazing, it is like a couch that knows everything correctly that you and everyone else didn't know. Definitely recommend it for everything, Calisthenics, weight training, yoga, stretching, Cardio, and other things.
2024-05-03 | Holly W. | Great app. I purchased it after one day because the price can't be beat for the option to add multiple days. Im a weightlifter focusing more on calisthenics, mobility, & flexibility. My one issue is the generated workouts don't usually match the volume/intensity I select. For example, if I have the slider all the way over to the right for a strength/low volume/high intensity, it generates a workout that has minimal focus on strength. It also suggests movements with equipment I don't select.
2024-04-09 | Tiffany F. | Amazing resource for discovering exercises based on available equipment and logging/tracking workouts (including in a grease the groove style). And free with no ads. Totally usable without the subscription as well - but support the developers if you find value in the app; clearly, a lot has been put into it. Great job all around. đź‘Ź
2024-04-03 | Hamilton Sanchez | calistree is fantastic. being both free and giving some great videos on the techniques. that being said there are some gripes. for starters the warm up... is not a warm up. I can easily do 10 clap pushups, but it shouldn't be considered a 'warm up.' recommend doing an actual warm up before your workout and treat the apps warm up as another circuit. my other issue is lack of negative exercises. otherwise great app
2024-01-21 | Raegan Faircloth | So far this app has been really amazing and helpful. It has tons of new stretches/exercises that I've never done or heard of and it explains how to do every single one of them easily in video form. You can input what equipment you want, what body part you want to train, and other things and the app will create a personalized program for you based on your preferences. One downside is that unless you get the "pro" version(which is only a few buck a month), then you only get one custom program. |
