The game is pretty fun. I just paid $10 to remove the ads and that got me pretty far. My issue is that the RNG is pretty bogus at later levels, especially for the mythic equipment. Three times I had a 1 in 3 chance to roll into a new piece of mythic equipment and got something I already had. It takes a lot of resources to craft mythic gear and, unless you have a lot of patience or money to throw down, it's going to take a while to get what you want. Definitely a gacha game.

Justin Hartman, 2024-11-25Overheating my phone like CRAZY. Was fun for the 20-30 minutes I played it for but I'm not going to torture my phone any longer. Also there's a "device disconnect" button in the settings, it made it easy to delete my account but it didn't even ask to confirm I wanted to, it just did it as soon as I pressed it. I imagine it'd be pretty easy to press it on accident..

Phantom, 2024-11-13It's one of the best mobile games I've played in a long time. The combo of akf and roguelite elements just blends seamlessly. The progression is pretty good, and the gacha is tame compared to other mobile games. Gave it 4 starts because of one issue. I was charged twice for the No Ads package. So be on the lookout for that. Now, the ads are not really intrusive, but when you need to shuffle to get a decent build going, it can be a bit much. Hopefully, I can get a refund on the first purchase.
