2024-11-02 | Jason Marcus | App is pretty awesome and works great with mpvKt for video playback. Only real issue with it is navigating around the app for content requires clicking through several menus instead of having it your bookmarks in one place. Also the app nags about battery optimization even though background use is enabled.
2024-10-22 | Neil Will | My review for this app has always been five stars. It's because I've always been able to use my Google Drive flawlessly. Sadly ahead to lower my rating because Google Drive is no longer available. Very upset about this. No other app even came close to the functionality for Google Drive please fix this if you guys can right now I'm just looking for alternatives
2024-09-29 | Drake Hatfield | If you are downloading this app so you can play YouTube music as background music for Xbox, my reviewis for you. The app does indeed allow you to play YouTube music as background during gameplay. There are only a few caveats. First if you open Spotify or anything else accidentally it may interrupt streaming. So just be intentional. The only other negative thing which really is a minor complaint, is a 10 to 15 second lag on what you are playing. For most of us this is perfectly fine.
2024-04-25 | Andy Carrillo | Works very well to stream qubuz and music files from my personal DLNA server to my Marantz SR-6012 receiver. I initially found the trial version to be unreliable and a bit frustrating to get to work. I almost gave up but I took a chance and bought a license anyway. I'm glad I did. The issues went away and I've found BibbleUPnP to work well on my setup.
2024-04-07 | Nick Haghiri | BubbleUPnP is best in class. And it's not even close. Seriously. When it comes to handling, transcoding, and casting media streams, BubbleUPnP seems to cover anything I throw at it. Not to mention a dedicated server application and lots of third-party integrations for media sources. This app has been maintained for many years, and it's development has a clear vision. This is one of those apps that keeps me on Android, and if you do any media streaming and casting, buying this is a no-brainer!
2023-12-31 | Cæsar Bishop (The Krishna) | 2023 update: 10 years later and still going strong//////Forget the Plex app. Forget Avia. If you want to stream all your local content from your phone, computer, xbmc or plex server to your ChromeCast, this is the app to have. I've thrown multiple file types at Bubbleupnp and it has not failed me yet. Download the app, buy the license, and get ready to get the most out of your ChromeCast.
2023-10-19 | Alex Barry | I would think this is the perfect app if it had two minor improvements: (#1) an easier way to make small adjustments to current playback position (e.g. skip ahead 10 seconds or 5 minutes, more than just plus or minus 30 seconds). (#2) The option to track viewing history, without having to use a service line Trakt. Still giving this 5 stars because it has otherwise worked flawlessly for at least a year now.
2023-08-05 | David Schuett | It's ok. Years ago when first used this app it was great. I could select a source and send it where I wanted it go. Now after several upgrades. I can hardly get anything to work. I can find my source, but it is extremely hard to find where I want to send it. When I fo come across how to it's doesn't always work like it use to. Frustrating.
2023-05-26 | Garrett McBrayer | The audio quality on my XM4 earbuds or my KZ IEM'S are absolutely bonkers. The transfer of music or how to navigate this app is extremely rough. Definitely took a minute to get the audio settings right, but worth it. I just with the library transfer from Qobuz was better. Songs on my track list on the main app are there and available. In this app the tracks list is capped at 2000. The tracks are in the app in other places. No track skipping unless you shuffle. Otherwise it starts a new playlist
2023-03-15 | Dennis Kimball | I've been using BubbleUPnP for several years now. Even contacted the developer at least once. The app has been a sheer delight. I have it on several devices and use it regularly, probably only second to email and internet browsing. It has always worked, is regularly updated and I feel is not only easy to use but very powerful. If you have your own library of music whether on a PC, an NAS or even the cloud, this is the premiere app to use. Vastly superior to any of the streaming music services. |
