2024-11-09 | Eli Skeggs | No way to import .lbx files containing print history or templates from an old device. I have them on my new phone, but Android doesn't prompt me to open them with the app. The app description claims there's cloud storage, but there appears to be no affordance for that in the app itself. The support link provided in the reply does not help - entering my device's model number into the search box on the support page comes up with no results!
2024-11-01 | Jenn Haefner | I love all options, templates, etc. A few critical suggestions or missing functions: 1) copy or duplicate label/template 2) allow >5 labels in template 3) (*high value) search function in saved & print history (search label text & template name) 4) remove limitation on how many emoji, photo, etc. can be used 5) develop more label previews. Black tape white text never shows realistic; we're even prompted to update & it doesn't. 6) reduce amount of wasted label that prints before, it's TOO much
2024-10-30 | Roselyn Hoffman | As someone with a visual impairment, I love the ability to use my phone for creating labels and adjusting the font, size, and everything else. Although some buttons in their areas are not labeled or not easily accessible with my screen reader, for the most part, I love this app and I am grateful for it.
2024-10-05 | Mark Brophy | The app itself works fine, but I can never find the app because Brother decided to name it "Design&Print" which means nothing to me. Call it "Brother" something, that's the logo on the physical printer and it's what I'll look for in my phone. Don't make me do a Google search every time I want to print something. They even named the app "P-touch" something in the play store, so when I do search for it, Google says it's installed but I still can't find it and then I question reality.
2024-09-29 | Joey Bassett | UI is cumbersome to interact with and clunky feeling. Simply allowing the screen to time out will make the app refresh and any data entered or formatting changes will be lost. Attempting to change margins in 'print settings' to eliminate the 1 inch of waste that has to be manually cut off with scissors at the start of every print crashes the app or causes the same losses as allowing the screen to time out.
2024-04-04 | Malcolm D | This app needs some things added from the old iprint&label to be feature parity and have me never use the old app again. I need the old invert option back (the one that made the inside black and the text white) I want the frames to not take up 30 percent of the space somehow, just shrink the font a little to fit the same amount of text I already have in a smaller frame area or give us a slider to pick how much margin we want from the frame edge please. As they are they are useless to me atm.
2024-03-18 | Laura Wright | Update: Location permission is no longer required. I am once again using and enjoying the app. It is easy to use and the Bluetooth connection makes it a great, quick option. Previous review: Location permission is a requirement for use. I don't want to use external printing services, so that is totally unnecessary and invasive. Uninstalled.
2023-10-17 | Safe Movers of New England | I have successfully connected both the P-Touch cube and the P-Touch cube XP together on the same app. When printing on p300 there seems to be a default error message that pops up that says "tape cutter on the machine does not operate." P300 does not have an automatic tape cutter. If it would be pleasing to the programmers to remove this pop-up when using the p300 it would be quite appreciated.
2023-09-13 | Hector Jimenez | I don't think I've seen another app work so reliably with a Bluetooth device the way the Brother app does. It always finds the printer and prints flawlessly. The app is simple and works more than well enough for my needs. I think the P-touch cube is probably one of my best purchases and a big part of why I think that is this app.
2023-07-30 | Royce | The app works fine and does the basic things I want it to do (with the Cube printer anyway, which may be fairly basic). The premade templates are mostly silly and useless, just applying arbitrary fonts and arbitrary colors (regardless of the actual color of the tape installed). I bought this printer after I decided I really need the "Power" symbol for things I reach for in the dark, but was surprised to find it isn't in the symbol set. BUT it can print an image from your phone, so I did that. |
