I was REALLY hoping this app would be a sufficient "Mobile App" substitute for Adobe Illustrator (my preferred vector design program on desktop) and it couldn't be further away from it. The "pen" tool is awful. Handles are impossible to revise. You can't add additional or removed extra anchor points from a path/shape. The UI is incredibly disorganized and clunky. Stylis shortcuts don't work. I've emailed support 4 times in the past 21 days with no response. Don't waste your money on this ap

I have created a few projects with this app, but I could have done it in half the time with a more stable product. The further you get into a project, the more you clean up the artifacts and bug content (such as unsolicited spots and dots that need continual removal). That said, I updated this review from 1 stars to 3 stars because this is a powerful app despite the annoyances. I use it a lot.

Once you get over the learning curve of this app's controls it's pretty decent, but it has an issue that's apparently common among users that may not be worth it: It's not unusual to open a project to find one or all layers blank, regardless of save status. Some users report a sort of fix to restore them, but nothing I've tried has ever worked for me. There are a few other minor issues, but those are more just annoying. If you go with it though, IMO the paid version is totally worth it.

This app is complete trash. I spent hours working on an illustration with intricate line work. The app suddenly stopped responding, and when I reopen it all my linework is gone, yet the layer still exists and it appears in the preview. One of the worst things is putting energy into a piece and having the software screw you over. I don't recommend this app to any serious artist at all.

This app has a lot of potential but it is EXTREMELY buggy. For those experiencing issues with union, you may simply not be hitting the check and it may not be registering. So keep doing it til it registers. In terms of features...it just doesn't work on the founding principles most vector art does like you would expect. Even when you combine/union shapes, big gaps will appear, etc. It's not a bad app for $8, and it does have some nice features but they don't work consistently the same way.

I bought the full version of this app and all features years ago. Along with the Infinite Painter app. BOTH were awesome but unfortunately I have had multiple errors with Infinite design recently. Just in the last month I the app failed while trying to work on a project that is much smaller than others I have done with this app in the past. The first error locked me out and didn't recognize me as a paid user, which I have been for a handful of years. I had to re-install the app to get it to recognize my credentials. Perhaps my bad, but the uninstall process took with it my saved projects that weren't exported to SVG or PNG. Those were gone and unrecoverable. I started the project over again and near completion most of the layers I had cleared themselves and hours and hours of work was lost. I have reached out via their email because their forum won't let me create an account and they basically gave me a response that sounded like it was blaming me for their apps inability to function. It pains me to walk away from Infinite Design. It was the best Vector drawing app but 2 losses in a month and a loss at the end of last year has taught me I can not rely on this app for projects anymore. Apart from that some of the functions in the app have started to work differently or fail over the years. I wonder if there is enough upkeep. Using the lazy function or smooth function don't work as well as they used to. I was down to drawing my lines by hand in the app when I wanted them and exporting to SVG to clean up in a program on my PC. I hope this changes for the future.

The tool set is not intuitive. I have used Illustrator for nearly 25 years and Affinity Designer since its release. However, this is frustrating. There is little or misleading instruction on how to use it. The in-app help is short and incomplete. I have spent over 3 hours trying to join (union) two shapes. I appreciate you can do a lot with this app, but the learning curve is too high without proper instruction provided by the developers.

I love the features of this app! It's so convenient to use and offers a variety of handy brushes and assistive tools to use when creating your artwork. Huge issue is how layers and elements of a drawing simply disappear :(. I have paid for the full version, so it's especially disappointing to lose work so suddenly

So uh... App crashes a lot, yes. The tools are amazing. Im trying to search for decent apps, and this is slightly one of them. It has so much bugs, it crashes nonstop. And the top problem is because it costs money, i aint able to buy things. I just wanna draw stuff, i want to do art. But the most problems i have about this app is, because it costs money,it crashes, and has way too many bugs. Just fix the problems or something. Ty

I adore this app's tools and interface, enough that I bought all the tools. It has only one major flaw: random lock-ups. In the regular or beta versions, it will randomly stop working. The menus function, but the tools, undo and redo, saving, etc. all freeze. Luckily, the autosave is usually within one or two actions from the crash, so I can swipe it away, reopen, and continue working. I with this issue were fixed, because if it were, it would hands-down be the single best draw app on mobile.
