2024-12-15 | Dave Levine | I'll start by saying I absolutely love this service. However, the experience is really inconsistent. If you listen on one device and then change to another, you can't pick up where you left off. The music you were just listening to is gone. If this is by design, it really shouldn't be. Having a consistent experience across devices would really make this service shine.
2024-12-04 | Blake Levien | It's such an awesome app! I have ADHD and find it difficult to concentrate at work. The music on this app helps me concentrate and get things done on time. Their relax musics also helps me wind down and de-stress after work and before bedtime. I highly recommend this app for anyone!
2024-11-28 | D Wolf | I enjoy the sounds produced by this service but it's mostly useless without the ability to cast. Bluetooth is ancient and unsatisfactory and I don't even have speakers that use it anymore and I cannot just keep headphones on while working all day. I would use this regularly if I could send the music to my speaker groups. For your consideration, thanks in advance.
2024-11-20 | Kleressia Perry | Great app. It's the only music/beats that actually gets through my severe ADHD. But you must subscribe which I definitely cannot afford atm. Not their fault, of course, people gotta eat. But I would endure an ad or two for a stripped down version. Edit: The developers responded about ads and their reasoning is sound. So, I take back the ad comment.
2024-11-12 | Alexander Baumgarten | Needs more options for managing what is available offline. At present you have to manually select each thing you want downloaded. Should at least have an auto download favorites option. Zero details provided about how much space is being used by downloads within the app. UI is frequently lagging or freezing. Music just abruptly stops when timers end, instead of fading over 5+ seconds.
2024-08-04 | Sandi Schwert | Brain.fm focus and sleep tracks have changed my life. I stumbled on this app a couple of years ago and have been listening ever since (103 week streak). I listen to the deep sleep tracks nearly every night to help calm my racing brain and it helps more than anything else I've tried. The app itself works well; the desktop version is a bit more user friendly. It's easy to adjust the variety and level of track you want to hear, save your favorite tracks, and navigate between activity types.
2024-07-18 | JD Sexton | Price is steep but for focus assistance, it's been helpful. I would like a bit more control around the few background sounds that can be added; the ability to add/remove/adjust on the fly. Additionally, the ability to pick and toggle which neural effect on the fly would be helpful; can currently only chose tracks with them applied and there is no ability to turn them off completely, if so desired.
2024-06-14 | Tony | It's not for me. Almost every song has this whopwhopwhop like a helicopter propeller. I lower my equalizer bass to -10db and still there. I played with low, mid, high settings, I chose only waves or just piano, and it seems to be embedded. if this is what helps with focus, well it's painfully distracting to me. I need something to study to get rid of the outside world and I rather hear a baby cry than that lofi whop.
2024-06-13 | Andrew Fernando | I can't function without brain.fm. It keeps me focused on my work and it helps me wind down to sleep. I've always used music to cultivate my desired mental state, however before brain.fm, finding the best binural tracks was a job in itself that distracted me from the task they were for. With brain.fm I just turn it on and I'm all set! Highly recommend!
2024-06-12 | Febriana Farley | love this app!!! this is one of the few apps that I use all the time for years because it works! the music gently guides my wandering mind to focus on the task at hand and puts me into the flow. I once tried to read a (dry) book at a cafe. for the first 20 mins, I was distracted and couldn't even read half a page. then I put on brain.fm and the next thing I know 45 mins flew by and I finished 1/3 of the book! highly recommend the app if you need help with staying focused!! |
