2024-11-16 | Kurt Stricker | Nov. 2024 worse app ever. Connect using.their horrible app and Spotify shows it connected and playing but no sound is coming out of the damn speaker! Don't buy this garbage. Sep. 17, 2023. It's a Bluetooth device, it should connect without an app, right? Now however there's a new trick, Bose wants you to download their Music app. Shows my device but flashes continuously. My headphones are connected just fine. App does not connect however. Used to work.
2024-11-15 | Julia Slusher | I rated the Bose app collection overall and how it doesn't allow users to listen to its collection of music without pairing a newer version of their product. Many other speaker companies allow this as a free option to listen. One thing I did like is also accesible online through their website, and it's the refurbished version of bose BT sound devices and a trade up offer program.
2024-11-15 | Jeff Gulczynski | This is probably the worst app I have used. The ability to use party mode is almost impossible with this app. If I had the option to take the speakers back I would. Very disappointed with Bose on this one. Expensive speakers that don't work as they are advertised
2024-11-04 | Shelton O'Lidge | Having a bad experience with it interfering with the connection with my phone and the connection in the car. I don't know how to get it strained out. When I'm working on it, I have to call and see if I can get some help just doing some stuff it didn't used to do in the beginning. Now start my remote star with my phone connected to my car. It won't let me be away from the car and play music and stuff like that. So I guess when I turn the car back off, then?Uh, my little bowl speaker of come back
2024-11-01 | Amy Morrison | I love this speaker!!! The app is easy to use and install. My old Bluetooth speaker didn't have an app and I never learned how to change any of the settings. The app makes interacting with the speaker a lot easier and less complicated. I'd recommend this speaker to anybody I know!!!
2024-10-20 | Chris | This app hijacks the normal Bluetooth setup. My pixel 9 pro cannot connect to my QC 35 ii headphones with any Bose app. It can see & identify it, but it always has an error screen that says "Something went wrong." Then I can cancel or try again, but both buttons just try to reconnect. I can't factory reset as the app needs to connect for that. Bose help online is useless unless you have a later model. If only I could just connect to my dang phone using regular Bluetooth. Done with Bose.
2024-09-25 | David J. Loncle | Ive been using this app for nearly a decade. 90% of the time, the app will struggle to connect to speakers, especially if one is linking more than 1 speaker. App crashes and drop outs are constant. There are very limited controls as well. No EQ for instance, and as bose boost the bass across the board, there isn't any way to lower volume to avoid bothering apartment neighbors or have noise bleed into other rooms in a house. Return your speakers asap if possible.
2024-09-20 | Seth Milano | Very few apps on the market are as useless or as buggy as the Bose Connect app. When the SoundLink Flex came out, they advertised the ability to connect the speakers together. If only Bose took the time to actually make this function possible. When pairing the speakers together, they immediately both turn off. It takes about 5 or more tries to get them to connect. And when you do, if you stop playback and play a different thing, they again will immediately shut off. Zero functionality at all.
2024-09-19 | Dakota Hiatt | Can't connect to anything. This app recognizes that devices are nearby and then wastes 45 minutes of your life by "trying to connect". In reality, it made my brand new speaker say "ready to connect" about 25 dozen times, and that's it. Late stage capitalism means everything sucks at all times and we have to just deal with it.
2024-09-18 | Howard | Maddeningly inconsistent auto-connectivity to devices. You can only have two devices connected and when you turn one off to connect to another you have to turn on, it frequently crashes or just gets confused and I have to play whack-a-mole with turning things on and off to try to get the connection. It's been this way for ages and by now I doubt the experience will improve. The headphones are great but I wouldn't buy them again just because of the app. Maybe wired ones, but not these. |
