2024-08-10 | Will C | When listening to music or using Sygic through this app, it randomly calls my phone number multiple times. I've restarted the app, restarted my phone, and reinstalled the app. It continues. Why? Searched for solutions on the Internet with no avail... frustrated and disappointed.
2024-07-12 | Stephen Matthews | Invasive. Had to uninstall as the the latest version of app automatically starts every time you start the bike and, with its need to be always on and in front, messes up your other apps and connections. Also had to turn off some options on Bluetooth connection to bike. Why can't the phone be the master unit like with other connections and apps? Is this made by Ducati and Bosch or a teenager in their bedroom!
2024-07-03 | Steve Wilson | It's OK. Not terribly stable and it needs exclusive use of the phone, so you can't run the Sygic navigation and stream music at the same time. There seems to be potential for Connect to incorporate many more apps but I guess no other developer is creating more apps to run in this shell, so it probably won't progress much further.
2024-02-12 | Clinton Cave | I have a 2022 Multistrada V4 S. This app and the Sygic GPS app work but are far from ideal. It doesn't play many music formats, and keeping the screen on is a pain in the ×××. I might just buy a handlebar mount for my S21 Ultra and use Waze. Update Feb 2024: This app with Sygic now works fine for navigation and music. But it only plays mp3 and m4a music files, so I had to move the wma songs to a different folder. App now works fine.
2023-12-29 | Vidya Sagar | Does not work with Android 13. I kept trying multiple times and phone not detected by bike. I then tried a phone on Android 11 with same settings and it connects. Looks like app is not compatible with latest Android versions. As others have mentioned, allowing google maps will be awesome.
2023-11-16 | Peter Jordan | I've revised this review up to 3 stars from 1, because the Pixel Bluetooth pairing option has been repaired by Ducati. A visit to the dealer was necessary to apply the Pixel switch. Ducati also provided a part to replace the original phone compartment on the MTS V4 S with a new one that includes a fan to keep the phone cooler. That said, it would be best if the Ducati connect software did not require the screen on constantly, even better if Connect also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
2023-08-16 | Tim Guhman | Update : with galaxy s21. Still will not link to phone regularly. Will unlink mid ride for no reason. Kills battery, must keep screen on which makes no sense. Can't keep plugged in on multi as it will overheat in the tank pocket, even while riding with it open. Linking to my multi is useless. I cannot make or receive phonecalls because once I answer there is no sound to the headset anymore. Sygic constantly crashes & has to be rebooted on the screen when running with Ducati connect.
2023-07-23 | Ma Ch | Honestly, even 1 Star is still too much. Ducati should definitely stick with building bikes and not try to program Apps. I ride a V4 Pikes peak and if I place my phone in the compartment it overheats within minutes. Keeping it in the jacket and you might end up that the screen is pressed and therefore the Navigation stops. Talking about Navigation, Sygic is by far the worst navigation app I ever had to use. It literally finds nothing. Not even Café's that are at the same location for many years
2023-05-23 | carlos perez | Ducati Connect is the perfect companion for the Multistrada V4 S and Multistrada V4 S Sport. REALLY? After pairing, Ducati Connect will wirelessly establish a connection with your bike and enable smartphone mirroring. And through the MIRRORING you have an overheated phone with the screen on at all times, useless to use it with other applications and if you don't charge it, then you'll be left without a phone. bad choice.
2023-01-06 | Michael Brancato | Clunky. Doesn't auto connect kills the battery and overheats the phone with the continuous on screen. Just garbage. Update: somehow it's even worse with the update. Hey Ducati it's a 30k motorcycle just enable android auto and apple carplay. That map app is totally wrong for my area, shows none of the forest roads and glitches all the time. |
