2024-12-02 | Larry Ly | Works ok, but I could not get maps to show in kiox even after providing all the permissions, downloading the map data to phone, and unrestricted in phone battery settings. The kiox just shows an arrow. There is no mapping data on the kiox itself.
2024-11-27 | L Pic | I have a kiox 8102. I want to update the software. No updates. The 8102 provides many of the smart 300 controler. Ihave a bosch CX, the same as the CX used for kiox 300. Why not provide the 300 kiox as an upgrade for Bosch CX bikes sold with the Kiox 8102 ?
2024-11-22 | David T | It just works, but could be improved. I'd like to see routes being easy adjustable by simply dragging them without adding waypoints, and for GPX routes to be editable. The main interface is a little confusing to use at times, so some UX improvements wouldn't go amiss.
2024-10-30 | Frances Simpson | It's ok but could be easier to use. I find it very difficult to upload a trip when I get home via Bluetooth but works ok if I have the app open on my phone during the ride. Its not very intuitive - I find it hard to work out where my latest trip is to be found. The info is fine once you find it - the route, graphs and tables all clear and well set out.
2024-09-24 | Graham Proud | I've been using this since late 2019 on a Scott Silence eRide. Data syncing was a little flaky early on but it has proved to be pretty much bullet proof over the last couple of years or so. A good amount of interesting and usefull data about the ride all well presented. I did try the nav feature when it arrived, but could not get it to work. Maybe I should try it on the latest version.
2024-09-08 | Robby Bob | Generally good when it connects. For some reason the app repeatedly disconnects when I turn on my kiok 300, so I have to completely restart my phone for it to connect properly. I like the app in general, although sadly the altitude logged is way off.
2024-09-02 | Paul Macey | This app directs you onto footpaths which are not fit for cycling and you cannot turn off footpath routes! If this is not fixed then imprting routes from other sources is the only real option for using the navigation. Fitness functionality and route reports are good.
2024-09-01 | Tom Witkop | I've been using the app for a few months. I am a very old and experienced bicyclist but I'm not an expert on this app so take this with a grain of salt. Historically I would have connectivity problems. If I didn't use the app for a month and I used my phone on other devices such as Garmin or wahoo, I would need to fuss around and take about 10 minutes and get the Bosch by computer to recognize my phone or vice versa. Navigation is primitive.
2024-08-29 | Paul Tew | Used it for 2 months. So far easy to use, synchs well with phone, clear info, finds alternative routes quickly. Not needed to use it with kaboot or strava. Exceeded my expectations for a senior on a Kalkhoff e-bike using Kiox. Now used for 2 years. Regular problems with planned route on phone not synching with bike. Many .gpx files not totally compatible. On plus side excellent ride analysis.
2024-08-02 | Norman Collings | Cannot zoom in on the third page/screen of an activity to be able to see where the peaks and troughs are on the map. Otherwise a good App. Thank you for your reply. I am aware of the slider at the bottom of the screen. What I cannot do is zoom in on the map to see the detail of where the reading (cadence, power, speed etc) took place. The map on the first page of the activity is zoom able but not this one. Thanks in advance. Well, as expected, nothing happened about my first review! Can't add |
