2024-11-23 | Steven Thiel | I'm looking for the ability to send a quick email to a fixed email address with as few of clicks as possible. Boomerang is close to this goal. What I would love to see is for an option in the app than when launched to automatically turn on dictation or Google voice typing. Then I could launch the app and just start talking, which gets converted to text in the message field. Then just hit send. Alternatively, have the app automatically hit send after a set period of time (10-20 seconds).
2023-09-08 | Dave | This app is super simple and does exactly what it should. I can capture ANYTHING, a text, a screen shot, a note to myself, and send it to myself as an email. I just select "share" and Boomerang is one of the options, I select it, and hit send. Bam. Done. SO EASY. I love this app.
2023-05-25 | Sylvia Merino | If you need a quick way to send yourself a "to do" note, this is the app to have. Set it up to send to your email address. Then, each time you open the app, just type a note and hit send. No more worries about forgetting important things.
2023-04-01 | William Powers | I originally gave 5 stars to this handy app. Lately I noticed it doesn't save a copy in the "Sent" folder. If that is not important to you then this is a great app. However, a "Sent" copy is important to me so I am switching to a different app.
2023-01-06 | md bran | Hi, in the next update (or sooner!) could you change the prompt text after tapping the paper clip to attach a file from "chose from device" to "choose from device"? I know that's nit-picky but it bugs me every time! Great app though, very convenient!
2022-06-06 | . Brogerald Landis | I have just downloaded Boomerang apps on two Samsung cellphones. I have a lot to learn about the apps. I like the light mode more than the dark mode. On one phone ๐ I have the ๐ dark mode. On the other one ๐ I think I have the light ๐จ mode. The apps has a great potential for note taking.
2021-12-05 | Bob Lund | I was using the "Send Note To Self" app for 2+ years. This is SO much better. I use this app more than anything other than wiki, Google, and Sudoku. This is a tool that makes it OK to be old and losing your memory. Thanks guys and girls for all the development work! 12/5/21 (added): A reviewer in 2019 says, "Handy, send text and image attachments" ๐ฎ Really? Where is the Image Attachment function and how do I enable it? Thank you!
2021-10-24 | Riccardo Gherardi | No nonsense app that flawlessly does what advertised! 1 star removed for two minor annoyances: A) the app closes slowly (~1 second) on my phone, regardless of the kind of connectivity I'm under. It appears to wait for send success, then displays a banner, then proceeds to minimize. All the above could be hidden from user in the happy case B) inability to buffer messages when without connectivity -- this happens to me with some frequency and I find myself regressing to Gmail
2021-09-12 | Olli Tรถrmรค | Helpful when it works. Complains about network issues on an almost daily basis, which is extremely inconvenient for an app that's supposed to be quick and easy. Spending a minute to wait for the problem to resolve (while tapping the Send button every few seconds to see when it starts working) completely defeats the purpose of using something like this. If the problem is not fixed, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who's looking to streamline their note-to-self workflow.
2021-07-09 | Nancy Rector | Great mail yourself app with attachment ability! Been using MeMail for years but it wouldn't show up in certain situations and this does. SMALL ISSUE: I can't hit SEND if data/wireless are off at night. (I use this frequently if I wake up & think of something I need reminded of.) MeMail would allow me to "send", placing the email in the outbox which would auto send once I turned wireless/data back on. Could possibly be a deal breaker for me. Unless that feature is coming soon. |
