2024-12-11 | Cailey Roo | I tried to use this app four times, on three different spots (index finger, thumb, and wrist). Every single one measured well over 100 beats per minute... While I was sitting down resting. I did my own measurement and it came out to 69 beats. Not a single measurement on this app was even close, no matter how carefully I covered the camera.
2024-05-14 | Leisa B | I installed this app due to recent arrhythmia. At first I was impressed & thought wow this app actually picks up the fluctuations. I set the time to 60 seconds becuz my heart rate is slow & can be steady for 15 seconds. Anyway, as I said I was immediately impressed thinking it was actually charting the irregularities until I took my finger OFF the camera and it continued charting & fluctuating & presumably recording a ghost! I'll be uninstalling & use my pulse oximeter and stethoscope.
2023-12-31 | James R. Mister | I've been using this app for years. I have A Fib and my heart is in a constant state of flutter. It goes from 40-50bpm to 140bpm all day long. Using this app makes it really easy for me to monitor it myself and know if it's staying in the dangerous area more often than normal. It at least what's normal for me. No ads ever and a heart rate sca is as close as my phone or tablet, which are always close. Thank you very much for making this very useful tool and providing it for everyone to use. ☮️
2023-07-28 | Jennifer Holeston | I tried 5 different heart rate monitor app and this one was the best. For a free app I definitely recommend. It is pretty accurate. The reading has been the same as why blood pressure monitor. Easy to use, simple layout, settings and options for the sound on or off, flashlight on or off, you can choose how many seconds you want. Sometimes it takes a few tries but I am not sure if that is my camera layout or not getting my finger in the correct spot.
2023-05-30 | L R | Simple.Clean.Intuitive. Closest to former Samsung HRM. This was not the first heart rate monitor app I downloaded. I tried a couple of the higher rated apps. None would register my pulse no matter the finger or hand. Apparently, I was dead. This app gives the ability to easily adjust the measurement sensitivity and - voila! – I’m alive again. Not the first app I tried but, if this stays as a clean as it currently is, I will continue to use. Kudos to the developer for not ‘overflavoring’ it.
2023-04-22 | Paul Williams | Works as expected, accurate (compared with an arm cuff) and simple to use. You need to find the correct lens on a multi lens camera - no big deal. Update: for the last few weeks I have been getting wildly inaccurate readings, not consistently but often enough to distrust the readings.
2023-02-18 | Tetra | I have a smart watch with quite the accurate heart rate reading. Wanted to try this app to see how well it worked in comparison. I'm impressed. It was consistently within 3 to 7 bpm difference with what my smart watch was saying. If you need to easily monitor your heartrate, this app is good. (Using a samsung A52 and covering all three three camera lens with a single finger)
2022-08-11 | Carla Eskelsen | I used to really like this app, but it's all over the place, now. I can't get an accurate reading on any sensitivity setting. All I get is "no pulse detected" or pulse rates over 140, when my fingertip sensor says it's consistently between 50 and 55 bpm. Sadly, I'm going to have to uninstall. Maybe it's just not compatible with Pixel 6 pro.
2022-07-17 | ringe raja | This app does not need an account, there are not too much anoying adds and questions, it functions stabile on android, simply too use, the data are stored localy. If you need only pulse counting, it looks just perfect! It would be great if the app would count some steps additionaly... Maybe it could be a little problem if the mobile contains more then one camera, I have four of them on my Samsung and it can be tricky to find which one to use...
2022-04-27 | Lori Clark | I think it's a crock when it comes up and says Rate Us 5 Stars OR later. That's the only 2 choices that i had. No wonder your score is so high. I am not having really good results when I go from 57 to 115 sitting still in a chair at the computer but hey, it was worth a try right? Too bad it dont work. Even so... the '1' is for what looks like forcing a 5 rating. |
