2024-12-15 | Felix Contreras | The game is cool and amazing. But there are problems. Like, there are a few free countries to play as, I think the ai is kinda difficult even in easy mode, there are less free powerful weapons and countries to play as, and the game needs more updates too. Also, the countries that are free, make the game a little too much not fun because I wish there was at least more free countries that were playable, just a little bit more powerful, and next to other countries too. But the game is just ok.
2024-11-22 | Colten Bohrtz | I think First Strike is a fun and challenging strategy game. I like the new menu design and I like how challenging it can get. My favorite nation to play as is Kazakhstan because with fast expansion already researched you can take over all of Asia before a single nuke is launched. The research tree is cool and I like that there is different types of missiles with different ranges and uses. The only problem I have is you can only play multiplayer twice before you have to watch an ad to play again.
2024-06-01 | Preston Greer | This game would be perfect with a few minor changes. I know the developers were concerned with profitability, so the monetization was somewhat understandable. However, I would like to be able to play as any country for free again (particularly the USA). You should also consider adding a simple naval vessel mechanic in which players would be able to build ports and subsequently submarines and/or destroyers, and you should really fix the excessively sensitive hit box of the cities.
2024-05-23 | Jacob Curtis | If I had more space, I'd get into the nitty gritty of the new paywall. Long story short, I don't like the fact that I have to pay for things that were previously free, but I understand the need to make money. What I would recommend, as a consumer, is to start adding more features that are new, add depth, and exciting, and perhaps put them in as paid DLC. For example, adding RTS elements like navies and armies would be very intriguing and fun. Also, adding this game to consoles would be amazing.
2024-05-22 | Camm H | Great game to kill time and keep your mind going. Only critical issues I'm seeing is first that there isn't quite enough variety between game modes and skills to use for matches, other issue is that the game tends to crash while in matches after a period of time. Those things aside it is a great game.
2024-04-01 | Conner Perry | The content price change is understandable. I do understand the price change, but it is impossible to play the game without buying things, but the game is free. It's like getting a car for free, but you only got the frame, and you have to buy everything else. While I understand, it would be nice to simply add more paid things that aren't necessary, perhaps add ads. Anyways, the game is quite entertaining, but the price change upsets me.
2023-10-11 | Mensla | Game has turned into a paywall. You used to complete in-game challenges for more superweapons and countries. Now, you have to buy those exact same things. They've added more content, but you can't use it without paying. I'm disappointed in this, the game was so much fun to play. I'd rather they start introducing adds then lock off so much content behind paywalls. Even the global strike trident and the U.S. requires payment, which used to be first things you played with. I'll miss this game 😞
2023-08-09 | RedMaster366 | This game used to be fun a few years back. But when I reinstalled it, it became a complete cash grab compared to what it used to be. Don't get me wrong, it still is fun, but just about every country is behind a pay wall now. You used to be able to unlock every country via playing the game. If you could make them unlockable again, I would easily put this at five stars (even more than five stars if I could).
2023-07-15 | Bridgette Williams | Honesty the costs are crazy because this game was really fun and addicting until I reinstalled the game and saw that every nation has to be bought and the two superweapons along with two other "nations" ain't free no more. It's like you have to make a subscription. And I haven't really bought anything after the update, but I remember having other nations I don't know how much long ago, but I lost those too. I highly recommend playing this when you hear about a new update or so.
2023-06-05 | FireAntFury | I want to start with, it's an absolutely great game. Lots of fun... but... first day I've played it since they went full monetization, I bought some items because the game is worth the purchase... then I opened the app again some hours later and I lost my purchases. I never got money back as if I may have accidentally restored purchases. Every time I close the app and open it later on, I lose everything. |
