| 2024-11-25 |  | | I've been using Bitdefender Total Security for years. I have 12 days left to my Total Security subscription. For some reason my Bitdefender app is acting weird like it turned off certain features. Anti-Theft and App Lock are disconfigured. The app recommends turning it on, but the app is acting glitchy as I'm unable to modify it. I wonder if this issue would fix itself magically if I renew my subscription. I cleared my cache and restarted my phone. I'll renew after 12 days and see what happens. |

VPN stopped working? Customer service is pitiful. I'll probably be looking for lmore reliable protection for my needs. Bitdefender is not the same dependable service it use to be ? What happened ??? Support doesn't even read problems reported. They ask them the same questions even if they have been reported to support via chat |
| 2024-11-21 |  | | I love this app so much so that as soon as my computer/laptop anti-virus subscriptions end, I will be purchasing a Bitdefender subscription for those devices as well. It has everything I look for in an anti-virus, including VPN services. The user interface is clean. Super importantly, it doesn't take up a ton of storage or RAM like most of their competitors, so the phone's performance and battery life isn't noticeably affected. I highly recommend! |

I'm connected to my home wifi, that network is listed on Bitdefender's trusted list, but every time I use my phone, app lock is active. Smart unlock is no longer working. |

After installing onto my laptop it's now called "total security" and in trial mode. When trying to get my purchase to reflect in Windows I find the "premium" package for $10 more than what I paid but includes EVERYTHING. When I googled what the legit app's appearance was, googles AI said that it was primarily blue, and with a shield, neither of which are true for this app. I am reluctant to use this app until I'm 1000% sure that it's safe, as it requires full control of your device permission to be granted, in order to give you "full threat protection". |

I'd like the option to set a specific scan schedule, similar to the feature in the PC version, so I can reduce the frequency of scans. Update: After the recent Bitdefender updates, I'm experiencing an issue with the app lock. Despite connecting to a trusted Wi-Fi network, the app lock still prompts me to enter my PIN each time I open an app. |

I tested this against a few other leading AV softwares, this was the only one that was able to detect everything I threw at it, including mundane things like tracking cookies. It even blocks malicious file encryption, I wrote a simple auto-encrypting script, simulating rudimentary ransomware, it blocked it before it could even run. The firewall management feature is great too, it's easy to block unwanted connections. |

If you have your phone locked down, like Fort Knox, like I do, it can get a little tedious putting your code in for every time you open your app. Really had to play with the settings to get it just right. Also went with the VPN add-on as well. It's not a bad combination. I wish it could do URL and email address lookups on the fly for emails you aren't sure of, though. Reverse number lookup would be a nice touch as well. Would recommend |
| 2024-11-08 |  | | Update: Have a P9P now and the app lock is a bigger issue now with biometric finger print not working if face unlock fails. Hope this gets addressed. Biggest annoyance so far is the app lock. It doesn't seem to work well with biometrics as there is always an issue and I have to enter my PIN everytime. It would be nice if they could address the reliability of the biometric working with the app lock feature. Maybe a fix or improvement down the road I hope. Otherwise, overall it's great! |
