Their main dashboard frequently advertises for this Password Manager, which I opted to download. Yet lo and behold, you need to pay $30/yr additional (on top of existing service fees) just to use this app. VERY backwards considering other antivirus and VPN companies Package this either into their service or into their billing. Definitely uninstalling |

I've tried deleting the accounts and resaving them, logging out then back in but nothing works. unfortunately these are my most used accounts. disappointed. plus I got a warning about adding the extension to Chrome. |
| 2024-03-05 |  | | Works well when it stays logged in. Sometimes it logs itself out and my PIN won't get me into the app. Instead, I have to log into my Bitdefender again. Not put in my master password (which I have memorized) but the one to Bitdefender. Except I don't know that password. It's randomly generated by THIS APP. Logging into things is THIS APPS ONLY JOB. The job I PAY IT TO DO. So I have to go to the desktop browser extension (which works great) to find the complicated password. Then try to type it. |

I see that others have been posting about this for at least 6 weeks. And yes, I did reboot the Pixel and try it again - same result: It crashed every time I opened it. |

Each time I reached out to support, I got the runaround and then was told another team would be getting back to me. It's now two weeks later and no one has contacted me and the app is still crashing after uninstalling and reinstalling the app. For the amount of money being paid, your service needs to be better. |

Just paid for ultimate security for myself and will be adding my fiancée as well, but clearly will stick with the Google password manager. |
| 2024-01-29 |  | | I'll update this star rating when the issue is fixed, but I am on android and this app is obviously crashing. Per a different reviewers' advice, open up the app settings in the general settings program on your phone. Set the permissions and allow the device to run/draw over other apps. The app wouldn't even let me get to the permissions settings before it crashed so I have a feeling that was a contributing factor. I had to allow alarms and reminders, for some reason notifications are blocked. |

Since 12/17/23, since the Android 14 update, the app keeps crashing. Today is 1/6/24 I've already emailed. The response was they know and are working on a fix. I asked for an update last week. Been perfectly happy with everything, and so I added the password manager- only to find that it crashes every time I try to unlock the vault with my master password. I just spent $20 for a year of this service I can't even use because the app is broken. It's been weeks without a fix, and I've already emailed support, &was simply told that they're working on it.. EDIT/response- I will gladly change rating when fixed. Hopefully soon. |
| 2023-12-27 |  | | Bitdefender overall seems like it is a great app, but I've just started using the password manager, and it's been nothing but crash after crash on mobile. It's not a great first impression. I'll be happy to revisit this review if the app gets fixed. For now, though, I can't help but give it 1 start due to its inability to be used on mobile. Updated 12/27 for comment response: It was the most recent update of the app that I was trying to use. I'll try the email. |
