| 2024-04-14 |  | | Fun app and decent features for free. Immediately behind my property line in back is a forest preserve with a plethora of bird species. Most responsive are blue jays, cardinals, and the Mets. Oh wait...Owls sometimes are very chatty but I recently read that one should not use calls for owls. Vaguely remember something about it interferes with their mating patterns. I sometimes plug in my phone to external speakers and the blue jays get fired up faster than Frank Rizzo. |

But, when I want to change a notification sound and fallow the prompt in the app it change the default sound on all the notifications. It happened with contact sounds too until i figured out the hoops to jump through. Also if you chose an option, it cannot be changed without going into settings and changing the sounds back to my original choice. This is very annoying. This app is fantastic, I'm unable to afford there annual fees, and how can you put a price on natural bird sounds. I believe you would make the millions if you just charged $2 and your app should move forward faster in a year. Why cause it would be more desirable to have, wouldn't you like to test my free idea 💡. |
| 2023-03-30 |  | | It's good but I'm seeing less and less sound over the 2 years ive used this app...please do the opposite...my favorite bird sounds gone...it use to make all the birds sing....UPDATE lots new sounds of birds now, also seen you can buy a premium edition with no adds. I'll have to try this out again on walks in The woods so fun, can even use the bird sounds as ring tones n notifications, lots of fun...I swear the Vink sound make Robins fall in love with you. It's amazing. |

Unfortunately, this app gives the option to set a bird call to specific contacts or alarm or notification, etc., but after several attempts of selecting a bird call to set for a specific contact it has not done so...!!! 😡 I may uninstall this app. It has not worked as advertised in setting a bird call to a contact. |

Full marks for the long list of which there are also a great list of wallpapers, overall if you don't mind a few ads and they don't cause any issues. |

No way to identify bird calls unless you already know which bird can you're looking for. (App claims to be able to record, then identify the bird you are hearing. I was unable to find such features anywhere in the app.) Product is BURSTING with ads... and I'm tolerant of apps with ads but this is ridiculous! |
| 2021-04-16 |  | | Not recommended, more than 1/3 of the rows of birdcalls are adverts, there is an advert when you load the app, it asks you to install other apps(likely by the same developer, and likely more of the same bs) there is a floating advert at all times, and another one when you close the app. It's not a bird call app it's advert revenue app. This review has been updated as the developer asked me to share my thoughts. Would not install anything by this developer again. |

Pressing Set for Contact Ringtone and then pressing a contact returns to the bird call detail page with an ad that may be hiding a Save option? Pressing the Close on that ad returns you to the bird call detail page showing that the Contact Ringtone was not set. This was attempted with the same result after reinstalling, allowing ALL permissions, and starting from scratch. Using Google Pixel 4. This app worked on the Google Pixel 2. |
