Update: We have been using this app for 2 years now and can't imagine life without it. We started reading to my kids, and now my oldest is reading on his own and tracking his books. We do not start a book without first scanning it through Beanstack. The only complaint I have is that (unless I'm overlooking it) it still seems to be pretty locked down on what the user is allowed to change. i.e. I can not delete readers myself, I can not restart or cancel challenges.

*Edit 10/2024: Added 5th star. App became part of my life. I really enjoy logging the books&updating my progress. Beats end-of-book-blues by giving a sense of accomplishment. Joining library challenges is a plus. *Edit: added 3 starts, taking back my previous review (re: Beanstack not opening after an update). I had to uninstall&reinstall (got lucky, guessed my logon right) and the App is working again <3 Back to my list of favorite Apps. I didn't lose my reading streak.

I like being able to keep track of my daughter's reading with this app and being able to join challenges through my public library. Lately the app has been glitchy, it doesn't record the readings or they'll appear sometimes but not always. The streak counter is also not accurate, even if there are no gaps in the days we've read, it will only consider a random amount of days as a streak.
