I love this old relic of a game, but having bought it on android was a mistake. Not only is it incompatible with my newest phone/android-version it is also impossible to use a bigger monitor to play it on. Buy it for another platform to enjoy Planescape:Torment.

Not compatible with my device. I have switched from android to apple and now I'm back again. I remembered this game and how awesome it was so I went to download it onto my s24 ultra. I bet the stylus would make it much easier to play. Somehow this app isn't compatible with the most powerful and advanced samsung phone on the market. Someone please explain this to me

Heads up to anyone buying this, it's made for a tablet. However I bought this on my Samsung S7 and it works wonderfully. (On a flip bow) This is a faithful Recreation of the PC port ATTN: to anyone who complains about the UI. The deal with beamdog. they had to port exactly the p c game they could not change a single line of code. Hense the tiny text etc.

The game itself is brilliant. If your device is older I highly reccoment it; however, it doesn't seem to play nice on newer phones. It freezes on boot up regularly on my new s23, usually working by the 4th or 5th attempt. With all the renewed interest in Baldurs Gate, maybe it's a good time for a patch? Edit: If I click the game booster icon a couple of times, the game will initialize.

One of the greatest RPGs of all time. The port was done perfectly imo, even for smaller phones. My only complaint is that the last time I played through all the way to the fortress and some of the spells didn't seem to work quite right. Maybe those enemies are immune to them or I'm missing another crucial aspect. Either way, I deleted it years ago and have recently decided to visit Sigil again, this time as a fighter I think. Wish me luck 🤞

The port is a-ok, but game saves are no longer transferable between the Android and PC versions of the game due to the Android 13 update. Game saves are stored in \Android\data\..., which now has permission restrictions that preclude copying files to/from many locations the directory, even when browsing from Windows via USB. Everyone on the latest Android version will be stuck playing exclusively on either mobile or PC until Beamdog changes the location where game saves are stored.

The best book I ever played, the best game I ever read. Deep, intricate, unique story in a deep, intricate, unique world, full of deep, intricate, unique characters, dealing very thoughtfully with many thoughts and questions of one's identity, memories, destiny, loyalty, individual's impact on the world and world's impact on the individual. Not a "something to pass 5 minutes" type of game. More of a "something to get lost in for hour or more at a time" type of game. Takes about 100 hours total

3 stars because Torment is one of the best RPGs of all time. Not 5 stars because whoever ported this to Android has no concept of UI design. They put the right click actions on the bottom UI bar (good), but made the buttons so thin that even with a stylus or tablet they're still problematic. What is most infuriating about this is there's a huge amount of wasted bar space on either side of the buttons. Why they didn't make the buttons wider and use up every precious bit of UI space is baffling.

Decent port of the original game! You play "The Nameless One" on your journey to discover the source of your immortality. Auto pause is a must due to mobile controls. Entire game took me roughly 50 hours to complete to attain the 'good' ending. I did not see any game crashes or bugs in my playthrough. I highly recommend this to any western RPG fans out there looking for a classic to revisit!

playing in 2020 and it's an incredible game. it's NOT too small for phones but a tablet would be better ofc. Everything runs fine for me on a pretty old phone (Moto g5s), except sometimes major lag when moving all my party around. Not sure why it does it but it's not bad enough to ruin my experience with the game, just a bit tedious when it happens.
