It lets industrial centers without anti aircraft batteries shoot down bombers. It did it to me 4 turns in a row strategic bombing Moscow while it didn't have an AA gun to do so. Tank units blitz ability also isn't universally applicable. You can blitz through as US or UK, & it's still German controlled. It's almost like the developers were unaware of the rules of the board game they were developing. I'd give this 0 stars if I could.

Great game service is a zero or worse. Cant sign up or login to beamdog customer support to even report a bug. Some functionality issues like no preview move, to see you never moved a unit or moved a wrong unit on a clustered board. So many arrows can be blinding. Id give the game a 5 still as I love it and I think they've done a good job. But I can't play it's online function... and have no clue why and can't even report it.

Constant crashes. Announcement from 2022 stated a patch. Almost 2 years later (depending on month) and has crashed everytime but once. How 'bout that patch? Besides that I would give it almost 4 stars. Can't report a problem because my email (which was used to purchase the game) is insufficient to allow me to progress through the report process? Great game. Unfortunately the follow through with the patch/crashing/reporting an issue leaves much to be desired.

A very good simulation of the board game, though the version I played as a kid (first edition) didn't have cruisers, destroyers, or artillery and did have research for new technologies. My only complaint is that the AI isn't challenging. It makes remarkably stupid moves. I seldom lose the game as the Allies- only when the Eastern front, Air War and Pacific war ALL have bad rolls. In other words, I lost about one time in thirty. I usually can win in 8-12 turns

Not sure what to write you don't play the opponent you play the dice, the dice are absolutely insane. They might hit an average which I know is nonsense, but I'll give it to them. The problem is the dice are constantly hitting extremes, I played the board game and dice never hit like they do in this game. You will have 95 percent battles swing in your opponent favor constantly which destroys game play. You can out play your opponent make great moves and the game will give it to your opponent.

Could be a really great app, but if the developers are reading there's a couple of things that should be fixed/improved 1. Add a local save state/ undo button for local/ai play. The controls are sometimes confusing, so having an undo or at least the option to load an old save would be great. 2. Stability needs work, it crashes a lot. 3. DLC/ expansions. I will pay lots for a 1940 global version, help me give you my money! 4. For your next titles, make Ikusa and diplomacy next!

Not able to complete the tutorial. The controls are complex and there is little explanation or help. If you attempt to off load a transport to reinforce a territory you hold. It will not let you as demonstrated and the tutorial does not advance due to this complex action. This game has the potential of being as big as risk. But I do not feel the developers are invested in creating a intuitive or understandable UI.

I love, love, love Axis & Allies. I love the opportunity to play others who love it. But that's the board game. This app is so bad it crashes and hangs more than any device game I've ever played (about 1 in 3 games I load hangs requiring a complete app restart). Feels like a beta release. It also burns through my battery like a SOB. The menu structure sux (to play multiple online games you have to go up and down 5 steps). Let's hope the developers iron out the bugs. But I doubt they will.

I feel as though $9.99 is a steep price to pay for the game where the graphics are highly Sub par with most games. This would have been fine 20 years ago with limited cpu and graphic capabilities. Control of unit movement it highly taxing and becomes very busy on the screen, Allowing one to make mistakes. I hope they improve this because this is the only multi-player axis and allies Android game on the market

This game is awesome... the rating will increase when a few things happen. 1: Need to implement Research And developement option for alternative playability(which was avaliable in the original board game) 2. Fix MANY bugs 3. Implement a video war diary option to allow me/players to replay the combat moves visually on the map as a kind of recorded event. I will give 1 additional star for each of these needs.
