2024-11-14 | Ernie | This was my favorite email app id like to see an update of better photo experience like selecting the picture and seeing it in the text field instead as a attachment and some editing to text like larger text with different colors
2024-08-30 | New Palm | App is trash! I needed a way to stop myself from incessantly checking emails right before bed. I downloaded this app, and set up all the different ways I can pause my incoming emails, then sent myself a test email from another account. The test emails slipped right through no matter which option I used. Immediate uninstall!
2024-05-20 | jc j | Update 05/24: Boomerang has been back to working. For whatever reason, I can't get it to send me notifications despite the fact that I have that all allowed for the app in phone settings. Really weird. Sometimes swiping to delete doesn't work if I'm trying to delete several emails. Not a big deal, I just have to long press and check the emails to delete, but it would be great if it worked better. Features are still pretty great. Would love to have options for responding to calendar invites.
2023-04-10 | Matt | The only thing so far that I don't like is the warning that appears every time when opening a draft with an attachment. A do not show again button would have been nice. Way to ruin the whole experience just with that one little gesture.
2022-07-01 | Adrian | This is a great application, it really is, but I've had to uninstall it as the way mail is displayed is bluntly, awful. As other reviewers have also said, the mail content seems to be displayed in a central column with heaps of white space on either side, making it very difficult to use. Gmail displays those same mails fully across the screen. The integration with Outlook was I thought a winner, but this app is sadly let down by it's handling of mails.
2022-05-01 | Daz Kuffs | I want to like this but the email formatting makes it so difficult to use. It is formatted like a printed document with huge whitespace around the message and the text so small it is barely legible. Zooming in seems hit and miss. It looks like it tries to zoom but gives up. If it would have just displayed the text normally using the entire screen width available with a sensible sized font, I would have given it 5 stars.
2021-07-02 | Mike Denton | Its OK on Android but there hasn't been any sort of significant update for years (even though it's been promised for years). To see what a beautiful, well designed Boomerang app can look like, take a look at their Apple apps. They seem to have abandoned Android even though Boomerang is best with Gmail. The company itself has started to charge for elements that used to be free, too (hence the reviews expecting a feature that it no longer has). No hate for that. Ya gotta pay your people.
2020-05-09 | Queen Bee | It would be perfect, but it needs work. It is very confusing to tell whether it is recording your opens or clicks, or if the actual recipient opened the email from sender. The last one I sent said it was opened 5 times. How???? It is not solid proof your email was opened by the recipient, or even if it hasn't been sent already. Another issue. Too confusing. I have to delete.
2019-12-15 | A Google user | Great app all around, except just one (but significant!) thing: Virtually every email I open, I have to zoom in to actually be able to read! The app is just terrible at sizing the email to fit the screen, in my experience. A line of text is at least twice as long as it should be before it auto-wraps, and for ad emails, with lots of pictures and centered text, the content is about 1/3 of the width of the screen, with nearly equally-sized white space on either side. It doesn't make any sense.
2019-10-09 | A Google user | loved this app in my older phone but when I moved to my new Pixel3a running Andriod 10, I can't add my email accounts back to it. Every time I try to enter my Google Account, it pops up with the other accounts on the phone, but doesn't display the keyboard. So I have no way to change the information. Clearly something changed between Android 8 and Android 10. |
