Over the years, Ive purchased over 250 tracks from bandcamp. Havent logged in, in probably 7 years. Tried to login via this mobile app and got stuck in an infinite loop of re-verification emails. I get the email, re-verify via their link and go to login again, it gives me another re-verify pop-up. Terrible.

It does what you expect: browse, buy, listen. My only major gripe is usability. Many menus are poorly organized or hidden. I'm also very annoyed that my feed is bloated and full of "person you follow bought an album" rather than releases, announcements, and the like. Why do I care? I want to know what's new, not who bought what.

I absolutely love this app! I joined Bandcamp quite a few years ago, and continue to buy most of my music here. I really like that most of the money goes directly to the artists. They have an awesome selection of ambient music and I'm discovering new artists all the time! I also love that, in most cases, you can listen to entire albums before you decide to buy them! Only suggestion I have is to fix it so you can redeem codes on the app - right now you can only redeem codes on the web browser.

I've been using this app for over 3 years now and never had issues until recently. It's become extremely glitchy and won't let me open albums from my wishlist, playlists are extremely jank, and half the time searching is "unavailable". I usually download my music and listen to it through a different app anyway, but it's to a point where I guess I will only be browsing bandcamp on my computer 🤷‍♀️

Absolutely horrible that you can not delete anything from your library. Sometimes, artists have bundle sales, but that includes a lot of filler material that is lackluster that you wish to delete, but you can't. So now you're stuck with hundreds of albums that you'll never listen to in your library that you have to sort through, but the sorting system is abysmal at best and highly inaccurate. Update the app and implement a delete feature, and enhance the sorting system.

I love the option of "minimum cost" for an album because I love paying more than artists ask for when I love them. I love commenting on my favorite albums with my friends and joking about who has the most "superfan review". It feels like having a CD collection on my phone. Streaming services such as Spotify are purposefully made like social media, making you overuse it, crafting playlists, stalking others, etc. Bandcamp feels like it just "is". Here, I skip less songs, hence enjoy music more.

I wish this app didn't refresh/reload the inbox in the Messages tab every time I read a message and then back out. Also, there should be a way to enter discount codes from artists/labels promotions in the app; the only current solution is to use the actual Bandcamp website link in a web browser. Mostly decent app overall though, could use some more development perhaps. It works pretty well and has some other useful features.

Chromecast is still iffy, with me needing to frequently force-stop the app to get the Chromecast option visible again or to be connected to the casting instance to adjust it. Looking at merch item details, it's annoying that tapping the associated album does nothing and not navigate to the tracks to listen. At least I can tell they're trying to update the app now.

The app works about half of the time, the search results are never what I'm looking for, and the majority of pages I follow don't show up at all. I end up having to go to the website and download, then upload the download to another app. Very inconvenient when it doesn't work properly, which is often

updated review: at some point between March and April, Chromecast functionality ceased to be. I was listening through my Chromecast, disconnected to run an errand, tried to reconnect when I came back, the app stalled and then... The option was gone and never came back. Rebooting the app, phone, and the Chromecast do nothing. The Chromecast menu in the app settings is COMPLETELY GONE too. I've emailed bandcamp about the issue, and they are aware, but the fix has been repeatedly delayed
