| 2024-08-06 |  | | EDIT 8/6/2024 - There has been an update that was pushed to my phone and the game is working again.||||||| I have been playing this game for SEVERAL years. Unfortunately now the "special events" do not occur anymore. Facebook backups do not work anymore either (I had to replace my phone and had to start from scratch). Now, as of July 23rd, 2024, the game does not even launch. |
| 2024-08-05 |  | | If you have an android, don't bother. The game will no longer launch. I went through this a while ago and they promised to fix it. It started launching again then, but the mini games never worked. Now, it won't even launch again. Hard to contact customer support if it won't even open. I loved this game and have spent some money on it. All for naught, I guess. |
| 2021-06-16 |  | | This used to be a favorite time waster.. but it's become so over gameified to become no longer playable for me. So many elements to keep track of it become a damn job to study all the nuances. I miss the cute little game where just digging and seeing how far you could get was enough. Sadly uninstalling. The "improvements" is very much subjective. You've added unnecessary complexity to an already good game. If I wanted to build a castle I would download a castle building game. |
| 2020-11-26 |  | | Pretty fun. Except, when I installed it on Monday, all the ads were optional. They just gave extra gifts to make progression easier. Now they play before every level. Probably won't keep it for long because of this change. Also, if I rez above or next to a TnT crate, it'll explode after I'm alive again, them immediately kill me. So I've wasted gold only to die within a literal half-second. |
| 2020-10-06 |  | | I started playing again after a 2 year hiatus hoping it would be fun again. But there are way too many HARD challenges and every 5 seconds is a danger that kills you with no warning. There's barely any notice if your about to run out of axe hits and once you're out, your dead. Watch the axe while trying to watch for dangers?? In the beginning, I played because it was a fun game and not too difficult to pass. But now you HAVE to spend money if you ever want lives to play. 2 THUMBS DOWN!! BOO! |
| 2020-08-23 |  | | I haven't played this game in a long while, and came back to it to find that the game has changed radically. The basic premise is the same, dig down, gather gems, kill monsters, try to avoid dying... but now there are checkpoints and a limited number of lives. I can handle loosing the things I've gathered because I havent gotten to a checkpoint, but there are sooo many ways to die, and you get so few lives... I just blew through all mh lives in less than a minute. Not worth it! |
| 2020-07-21 |  | | Multiple things that I mentioned to the dev team years ago are still happening. Screen bouncing like the camera is on a trampoline, making it impossible to control the character. U-turning of the character when you tell it to go in a direction. And then there is the pushing against diggable blocks. All contributing to the character not responding to AVOIDING FALLING OBJECTS AND ROBBING THE PLAYER OF WHAT THEY ACHIEVED, such as completion of set goals. |
| 2020-06-26 |  | | Fun game, but you need to find an alternate place for your extra stuff like everything turns to gems or frost. I wasted 3 in 1 morning because of accidentally touching them while playing the game. Wouldn't be awful if it weren't for the fact that twice I was in the 1st level where I did not need pickaxes and the last time I pressed it right as I ran out of pickaxes and couldn't get a pickaxes before it killed me. Really frustrating. Not the first time either. |
| 2020-02-21 |  | | This game was great until the recent update. I purchased a pack to get rid of ads & worked like a charm. Chests opened instantly at the end of a dig, & the free one set on a timer. Now, ads are back! So frustrating & such a rip off. To make matter worse, the developers responded to someone's review recently on this same issue & they're completely denying that was ever a thing claiming we can just skip the ad & not get a reward. FIX THIS ISSUE! |
| 2019-09-22 | | | Awesome and fun, but the lives regeneration is way too long, 30 minutes for one heart, and can only hold five hearts at a time. And it's very easy to die- especially at first!- just one wrong turn and it's over. Another reason it gets 3, instead of 4 Stars, is the directions you turn are VERY VERY sensitive. So if those would get tweeked I'd definitely give 4 maybe 5 star review. But all and all a good game. |
