And if you uninstall then reinstall it's not possible to grant it Gmail access. As of this date, anyway you have to choose between Mailtask and the Advanced Protection Program. |

| 2024-02-03 |  | | Used it with Gmail & Tasker. Got error; "account not found or not visible to the app". Battery settings were not optimized. Turns out in the "from" field in tasker you have to select your account via the 'magnifying glass' icon, don't just type it in. I think that did it for me. |

Just installed it looking for a way to forward SMS messages to my email inbox and came across this tasker plugin, installed and gave all required access, imported and set up the corresponding task in tasker, and... Nothing. The popup displays correctly, so I know that the text message intercept works, but the forwarder doesn't. Worst of all, the log file is completely empty, despite granting write access and all, so I really can't trace the problem. |

| 2022-03-22 |  | | The fact that this app only works properly with Google emails cripples its potential. Tasker apps and plugins seem to be obsessed with having an unnecessarily tight integration with Google Services, and unfortunately this app is no exception. |
