| 2024-11-30 |  | | Backdrops has a rich , most interestingly, very widely assorted mix of styles and themes by numerous artists. What I mean is it doesn't get stuck with a colection made up of a lot of things in a similar style or styles, nor a lot of pieces looking like they could be enjoyed only by a few age groups. 20 somethings and young teens, for example. While it has selections for adult tastes, its range isn't stodgy or unadventurous. I change my look often. For now, it's all my phone and I need. |

Can't wait to try a new backdrop on my phone or tablet each time, yet I don't want to get rid of the one that's on there because it's so amazing. Highly recommend upgrading to the pro version Unlimited content and options is well worth the few dollars. I have uploaded a bunch of my own but there not available yet?!? 😕 |

I need to switch it off and on every day, and it will switch once or twice before stopping. Otherwise, it's an awesome app. |
| 2024-09-30 |  | | Backdrops used to be THE app for wallpapers. Unfortunately, it’s now AI wallpapers everywhere. You can thankfully still see the old, good ones, but it looks to me like most of (if not all) of the new wallpapers over the last year have been AI-generated. This utilitarian philosophy of “the way the image was made does not matter” is a total letdown from an app that I genuinely enjoyed. It completely undermines their entire tagline "Original. Beautiful. Designs." Can't recommend. |

Also, upload never works, and the app shows no uploads. After update: No change, just getting ignored as usual. There are no problems with the community, or explore tab. Currently looking for a better wallpaper app. |

Usually I'm able to use the "Restore Purchases" option to correct this issue, but this time it's not working and I'm unable to locate the transaction on Google Play under my subscriptions or anyplace else for that matter. I'm not sure what the problem is or where the issue stems from, but it's very annoying, frustrating, and inconvenient. Other than that, it's great! |
| 2024-07-31 |  | | 07/15/24 - Wallpaper switches through my Favorites every 12 hours as I chose. Yay! 05/31/24 - wallpaper switching stopped working again! Doesn't switch. 05/06/24 - "Switch Walls Every" doesn't work. I have to to turn off/on Auto Switch everyday to make it switch as it commonly reverts back to Android stock wallpaper. Battery optimization is turned off. Set for 6 hours, it might switch once or twice in the day, but then stops and reverts back to Android stock wallpaper within a day or two. |

Access to the FULL featured version, thank you 'Play Pass', made this mandatory. Wallpaper apps are categorized, with little thought, as 'dime a dozen'. Given their due, these apps CAN impress. This app provides the 'pudding'; access to an enormous image library, precise individual image detail, TRUE download capability (you own it), value added in-app image organization, etc, etc. |
