2024-11-24 | Zophie Enzo | Useless! Cannot log into email because of this app! I keep getting told to enter a code on authenticator but there's nowhere to enter it. When I try to log into authenticator again it says to enter code from authenticator, goes in a loop. I'm admin and it says contact admin! I've wasted over an hour now. I cannot access email without this stupid app working, which it doesn't! I got a new phone and cannot access the email account on any device now due to this horrible app!!!
2024-11-23 | _sludgefactory | Just lost all of my entries because the app wouldn't load and I had to factory reset my phone to get it working again. Even though I backed everything up it says there's no back up available. Thanks for costing me hours of work both personal and professionally to fix this issue. I finally get this POS installed and logged into my personal account and now when I try to log into anything it doesn't even attempt to prompt the app. This app is less than useful, it has negative value and it's free!
2024-11-19 | Carisa Rausch | God forbid you delete the app by mistake, can't get back in to save your life. Somehow some developer thought it was a good idea to make it ask you to use the authenticator as youre trying to log in to the authenticator. It's for my work account so no back up and my phone number isn't attached to it. If you're logged in it actually works fine, not fantastic but fine
2024-11-18 | RANDOM WICKED | When it works, like clockwork. 90% of time it tells me to open my authenticator and enter code WHILE I'M USING THE AUTHENTICATOR. I then attempt to enter the code on tablet but never comes through. It is just a constant back and forth. I'm unable to get verification code as well. I can't delete 1 login group to try and restart. Just useless when it catches you in a loop.
2024-11-15 | Nishant Shah | You killed a perfectly good app/extension combo. I used Authenticator App + Browser extension for MFA, Password Vault and Autofill Service across my phone and PCs / browsers. Now that you've stopped autofill with zero-day notice (your announcement states Dec 14, 2024 but it already stopped working), I will move to other platform such as Bitwarden. Edge Wallet is not an option, because that doesn't work on other browsers. Whichever "leader" took this decision is out of touch with the real world.
2024-11-15 | mechtech256 | Unfortunately, they have decided to include spam/promotional notifications. This used to be my authenticator app of choice, but I just received a notification that was advertising the functionality (which I have turned off). This app has a simple function. When a user requests an auth-code, it pushes the auth-code. That's it. Don't spam me with promotional messages with new features that you're stuffing into this minimal app. Notification settings are bundled, so promotions can't be turned off.
2024-11-14 | Lisa Taylor | This is a life saver for passwords. I let it make difficult unmemorable ones. I tap it and I'm in whichever App I need (except for Microsoft & Google--> send verifications for 'account safety'). So much better than writing passwords on paper in a notebook kept in locked box at home 'till 2018. Smart phones are smarter when more expensive. My husband had a 4 plus y/o Samsung A03 He doesn't have AUTHENTICATOR, different want to learn. Wished still Flip Phones
2024-11-11 | jjbonk | It's somewhat redundant, and like so many of Microsoft's programs, constantly bedeviled by frustrating glitches. After using the Outlook email and calendar programs for more than one year, I have switched back to Google. The recurring niggling problems with Microsoft wore me down.
2024-11-11 | Rob Geab's | Does not work most of the time when I click on he pays to sign in for an app to sign into it does not appear could you give me the option to sign in with Microsoft authenticator I have went into my phone and signed in for the Microsoft to be the only sign in application the other two are Samsung wallet & Google even though I do all this it still shows up with Google most of the time. The other times it shows up with nothing no options. Does Microsoft offer a tutor app to look into my phone?
2024-11-03 | OldDragonLady#1 | The problem is with Samsung popup notifications of whatever you did last. It hangs on the screen just right to cover the number I need to select on the authenticator! It was incorrect so tried again & guessed correctly. It takes a very long time to go away. If you copied text prior, it says so; if you approved something, it says so. Everything you did last popups on bottom of screen, even over keyboard. |
