Today you took away two aspects of the app I was content with watching ads to get access to pretty much full access and today you guys got greedy. Going to uninstall and try one of your competitors Free ver. Works, listen to an add. Ok. But with all the bloatware Samsung loaded on my phone, why not a cache cleaner? |

It told me it would save me a TON of storage, so I decided to try it out. Before doing this, I had deleted a few large apps, so the "storage space running out" notification wasn't there. After optimizing photos (multiple times, different settings), I had much less space than before. The notification is back, I tried cleaning, and nothing is working. |

Been using this brand for years. Watch an ad to clean my phone. Apparently ad revenue isn't good enough anymore. | 2024-07-15 |  | | A long time ago, it worked well... I've used AVG for more years than I care to count, over a variety of devices, but mostly desk top PCs. In the last couple of years I've only used it on my phones. It wasn't amazing on my older (2y.o.) phone, but it did the minimum. I can no longer get even that on my latest phone, try as I might. I'm not in a hurry to shop for another cleaner but will eventually. If I find a cleaner that impresses with the free access I buy it. That used to be you guys. |
| 2024-07-11 |  | | under the "review " button, this app is asking me why I like it. okay, that is easy enough. bottom line ? well, it works! no hassle, no stress & not difficult at all. it explains what you are doing (cleaning) if you are not completely sure. it aided me in saving some photo's and it didn't get pissed when I said save the originals. so, yeah. I like it. it's free, it works, and it is easy to work. why wouldn't I like it? I mean, really? what else should it do ? besides fix breakfast- |
| 2024-06-05 |  | | I've been using AVG free edition since 03 and it's never let me down. Easy to use and can take care of current and potential threats automatically. It doesn't slow you down when gaming on PC or mobile. 2 things I would ask them to change is remove auto renewal on by default because it's a greed driven dishonest sales technique and I wouldn't have been using and promoting it for the last 2 decades if that's what they were all about. Too many pop-up ads too. |
| 2024-05-12 |  | | The app is incredibly slow. It'll scan through 75% of the memory quickly. And then that last 25% will take forever to scan. And it can't scan in the background. And this is a premium app and I have a premium subscription, which should mean ad free. But lately it's started showing ads anyway. This is on top of the fact that what is cleaned often comes right back anyway. And it has difficulties in forcing apps stopped as part of its task killer "sleep mode" function. Same with cache cleaning. |

After using this wonderful app, I have 22 GB space left on my phone + subscription plans are MORE than affordable for everyone. My suggestion is to try this app out first by subscribing monthly and if it's making a big difference on whatever device you're using it for, go for the yearly plan! It's certainly worth it and it's still just as affordable. 🧸 |

I have an older android model phone as a back up phone and it no longer gets updates, so lack of space makes it more sluggish than ever. This app resolved the problem for me and increased the phone's speed somewhat so that I don't have to get frustrated with it. Great save! |

But as of late, this app has completely stopped working and it has been a nightmare. I have uninstalled and re-installed the app, with no resolve. C'mon AVG team, can we get a fix for this already? |
