| 2024-06-05 |  | | Crashes to home screen for no reason, often, wasting time. Doesn't read fingerprint well. Always disabling my bio sign in, but only after wasting time making me retry over and over. When opening a new tab, or when opening open tabs list, it goes to the top of the list (oldest first) so have to carefully scroll down the whole list (bc it'll select tabs you fully want to go to, or it will simply close a tab you've tried to scroll down past) just to get to the tab you just opened. Time waster!!! |

I've tried almost every apps out there and this by far is the best in terms of ads blocking! The only feature missing is playing youtube in desktop mode missing the control buttons (back, forth, pause...) in the notification area and when in phone lock mode! |
| 2023-11-18 |  | | Super fast browser! I didn't realize how slow Chrome was until I started using this browser. It's a pain to change browsers, but bookmarks and passwords are easily transferred nowadays. I made the switch and my phone is running much faster, so I made the switch on PC as well. Highly recommend. The ad blocking is great, the privacy as well, but not so "private" that you can't access your fav sites or have saved passwords and bookmarks. Ps- I haven't had any of the issues other reviewers list. |

I updated to the full version of the VPN and it seemed to work fine the first day but I turned off my phone one night and when I restarted it the VPN just keeps stating that it is connecting but it never does. I reinstalled it but it keeps shutting down I was better off with the free version so far. Exhausted and frustrated! |
| 2023-04-16 |  | | Cant get my Avast Secure Browser to connect, it is not working. UPDATE: I changed from 3 to 5 stars. They have been there to help me through setting up my Avast Ultimate Subscription. I now feel secure finally on the web for first time in 10 years. After being hacked twice now, I was ready to give it all back to the hackers. There was alot I did need to know. I needed to make major changes & happen fast. So I choose to pay Avast, worth ever cent. One of the best decisions I ever made!!! |

Second, when I change websites through the bookmarks, it always opens a new tab. I haven't found a way to avoid that. I knocked off a couple more stars. The program crashes randomly multiple times a day. I thought it was because I was in the beta program so opted out but still happening. |
| 2022-10-21 |  | | Update: Recent update made the experience more pleasant. I'm no longer waiting minutes waiting on a page to load. VPN connection isn't stable for long periods of time though. Original: It's more frustrating than not. Occasionally it performs as expected, but there are moments when I try to open a random page and nothing is happening for minutes on end. I do enjoy the privacy the browser offers and other encryption utilities, but these random wait moments are not letting me enjoy the experience. |

I'll type in my email and password, then press the sign in button. And nothing. No response whatsoever. After pressing repeatedly, it only takes me back to the previous screen |

I have to manually copy and paste the link or jump through some other hoop. Often, the browser will behave as-if there's no internet connection when there is. No improvement after most recent update. I've been unable to complete captchas but have success in other browsers, etc. I want to like it and I tried but I just can't... I don't need the aggrevation. |

I got this because of Google discontinuing support on Chrome for old devices like my 8-year old phone, and this app is a great alternative. The only two gripes I have is that firstly, the app does push sales pitch quite a lot, and secondly, on multiple tabbed screen, the x is rather difficult to hit. |
