| 2024-11-24 |  | | Great app! Having to watch ads is a minor nuisance, but I have been reviewing all of my paid subscriptions and saving a significant amount of money. Pruning out all the low dollar amounts going here, there and everywhere has saved me a nice piece of change. That said, if and when I revisit subscriptions, Avast will be at the top of my list. |

Also constantly running and draining battery, sending notifications to put a lock screen even though I don't want a lock screen and don't need one. It's buggy too. Don't bother sending a reply , I see others have the same issues and you give them the same lame response and it's not helpful |
| 2024-11-13 |  | | I'm not a computer person but as far as my experience goes with avast, especially Avast One, they'rfreee all too aggressive. Avast One will hijack your phone dudes. Not a fun experience. I'd rather get robbed by cyber criminals! To be fair and since my knowledge of technology is limited, I get the idea that this and other products offered by this company may simply be too advanced for my needs and the low capability level of my rather outdated phone. I'll try again after I upgrade my phone. |
| 2024-11-10 |  | | 10/11/24 Ran the cleaner and it messed up my phone. Looks like it disconnected my SDcard which has cost me access to some things. I've used this app for years and never had anything like this happen. Really not happy and have uninstalled the app. Update: YTmusic said I couldn't access my music because either I'd changed devices or run a cleaner app. My music was on my SDcard which the app had lost access to immediately following my running avast cleanup. |
| 2024-10-29 |  | | while I no longer use this app, I did once upon a time... ...it is slick & easy to use - does what it claims to do... ...BUT! this is larger redundant on modern OSs/phones, and *can* conflict w certain suites from other developers, including Google/Droid, MS, etc 🤷🏽 long story short, I havent needed Avast in ages 🤷🏽 it doesnt *reeeally* have an edge over the out-of-box software that comes w devices these days - Ive left similar reviews on other products |

Most apps these days take up a lot of space, so it was helpful to have an app that could solve that problem. However, the app is kinda mid now. Can't even clean unwanted and hidden files etc, without sending me back to the quick clean section everytime I choose finish cleaning. An absolute waste and scummy tactic to force you to spend money when they previously allowed you to use "free" premium. |

It's a annoying to have to have multiple subscriptions just to get what's needed done. Uninstalling and cancelling this BS service before the end of this dumb trial. 👎 |

But genuinely, do not use this app. It's managed to delete 9 GB of data in a folder I specifically didn't touch nor did it even come up in the "cleanup review" options. I lost 9000+ photos, videos, music files, and other files in the span of 3 seconds- and THEN there's no ability to actually try and restore any of it. Actually malicious, garbage app. It's good for cleaning out your RAM I *guess* but it's not worth it. |
| 2024-10-17 |  | | Used to be completely free. Then had to watch an ad for deep cleaning of device which was annoying but somewhat fair. Now you watch the ad but it won't deep clean, just returns to the page where you select what items to clean. Tried multiple times. Even deleted and reinstalled app and the "free with add feature" has been completely removed and you have to pay to deep clean. In this economy that was the dumbest mistake you could make. Return the free with ad option and I will reinstall the app. |
| 2024-10-02 |  | | Used to work fine even if the ads were annoying but when I tried it on my new phone it deleted files I didn't select, including all my photos, audio, downloads... yet it didn't delete the photos in the trash. I am very upset and have found no way to recover those important files. It even deleted my backup file. edit to say that I did double check and review the list before cleaning. |
