2023-05-19 | Cari Fisher | So I came back after not having played for a few years and I'm almost OVERWHELMED by the amount of new content! It's like being dropped in the middle of an almost-new game with everything already unlocked! It will take some time to learn all the new stuff, but who can complain about too much stuff to do?! Not me! Loved the game before, sure I'll love it even more now. Devs even took the time to make the intro screen interactive! So cool. Fan for life.
2022-10-09 | Sxybby69UwU | I dint like giving 3 stars but this game is a confusing mess...I'm so lost. I click on time gate and no way to actually challenge it. I click on time gate again and it let's me challenge it. Can we get a more detailed instructions how the gane mechanics work? I'm uninatalling and going back to greedy cave. Greedy cave is much better and simpler and looks better. It's hard fighting in greedy cave 2 because the areas are so narrow and looks like clutter all over the tiny screen
2021-01-24 | J.C. Parodi | This is a nice updated version of one of my favorite games, I'm still learning where some things are but it usually gives a quick tutorial on things as you gain access to them. Although I have found that picture in picture youtube likes to crash when changing floors in the dungeon.
2020-10-05 | DepriverOfSouls | This games visual is good for being cartoony and I like how it's Tim Burton-like. I just started Greedy Cave 2 last night and already found a problem. All I was doing was reading the skills to decide on what kind of spec to use, but when I single tap the first skill in either....I instantly BUY it...even if I only wanted to see what it does. Now I am stuck with the first skill for sword and shield and caster with only 1 potion to reset........
2020-03-30 | A Google user | I think the first Greedy Cave was better in many ways. It was simpler yet still challenging. The second game's town is unnecessarily cluttered. Each floor is like a short corridor where you go from point A to point B, facing just a few obstacles and treasures in the way. In contrast, the first game's town was much simpler and more pleasing to navigate. The floors had much more to offer and felt great to explore. I haven't progressed far into this game yet so take my words with a grain of salt.
2020-02-15 | A Google user | I'll start with the bad: the translations can be a bit off, although better than the original Greedy Cave. Also, things can be a bit unclear while you learn how to use the many parts of the UI. That being said: multi-player is great. The rogue like aspects? Great. The style, design, and combat-system? Easy to use, understand, and charming as all get-out. I love that this took the turn from development into a weird rogue like in GC1 to becoming an MMORPG-lite, playable with friends. 4 stars.
2020-01-03 | A Google user | It's like you took the first game and had intent to make a better sequel, but then you got entirely distracted by monetization efforts. The controls are sloppy. Trying to make it 3d did not work. The maps are small and give no sense of adventure. The tutorial explained none of the more complicated mechanics. It's too easy. I have yet to use any items because you handed me powerful armor over and over. The main menu/town is a mess. I cant even use my "free lottery tickets". This game is awful.
2019-12-28 | A Google user | Used to be 4 stars, but this game is too inconsistent. What happened to the skills? I get if it needed balancing, but be upfront about it - Why just change skills, and get rid of my shielding skill, without any explanation or warning? This game has gone through so many changes - that change the actual core mechanics - it doesn't make any sense. Just when I'm getting used to the mechanics, the game updates, and the entire game changes. It doesn't tweak for fairness, it just revamps for no reason
2019-12-08 | A Google user | I've played a lot of rogue like games, and of all of them, this is the most money-grabby. The game play is pretty dull, the home area is crowded and unnavigable, and literally every flashing notification in the corner of the screen is just telling you to buy this or that. I was really disappointed, because I hoped it'd be as good as the first game.
2019-10-09 | A Google user | This game is a roguelike player's dream! Tons of stuff to do, an exhaustive library of items to equip, the interface is simple and easy to use, and it's not too easy, which is the problem for many recent roguelike games on the market. I have only been playing for about 2 hours and i was hooked after 10 minutes!! It takes all of the fun things from the original and adds multitudes, including improved graphics and controls, and adds not only multiplayer capability, but an awesome community! |
