2024-11-25 | Estee-Elle Sowiree (Yellodaffodil) | Claims to be best protection but if its so complex that we can't figure out how to use the features, then it's not going to protect much. Features like credit freeze, can do for free via credit agencies. Cumbersome! EVERY TIME I want to use Aura, or add passwords of my other accounts, I have to enter that 12-15-character Aura password. No option to scedule auto-scans. I regret getting it & won't resubscribe.
2024-11-19 | John Jenkins | Nearly Fantastic - Need the ability to do split tunneling on VPN and Shield. This is super important in Android Auto working without having to remember to turn shield/VPN off also several other websites won't work without split tunneling. Also the password manager could use a few things like password health for weak, duplicate or older than 90 days category which would notify you to change your passwords. Otherwise absolutely love it especially android app.
2024-11-17 | Pieface | This app helped me through the most challenging times of my life. It's an amazing security app service that I highly recommend. ****** My current concern is that the option to cancel the service when it's no longer needed has been disabled through the app. I tried canceling months ago after the threat I had was diminished, but I don't have the option. I called customer service, but since I purchased through the app, I have to cancel through the app, and the option is disabled!***********
2024-11-16 | d berwert | It's ok. Does what it claims, but can be cumbersome to use. Unable to access from my app, just spools and never allows me to log on. Have to open the website to access from my phone, which is annoying. I appreciate the vault and use it regularly. *Update* was able to uninstall and reinstall app for access.
2024-11-05 | Cortland G | The good: it's good for identity monitoring. They seem to catch issues fairly quickly. They found fraudulent loans from a credit report scan about 3 weeks after those accounts were opened The bad: App is complicated to use. Bad VPN/online Shield. They are not good after identity has been stolen. Never follow up or give the same CSR for an issue (each CSR leaves notes), no text support, longer wait times when calling them, they make you do everything by yourself. Will cancel service eventually
2024-11-04 | S C | Data broker removal is one of the most important aspects of this service for me and it has not worked at all since my old service was switched to Aura almost a year ago. I have called multiple times only to be told my ticket is still in progress and no updates are available. How can an identity protection service ignore issues with unprotected info for multiple months?
2024-11-03 | Amanda Swords | This app is amazing. I have it for my 3 teenagers and it is very helpful to keep them from searching things they shouldn't. It keeps time limits not only for the day but for each individual apps. It also keeps me posted on their searches and breaks them down into groups. This is worth every penny as a parent. The only thing I wish they could do, is once nighttime is activated, I wish they could still make phone calls.
2024-10-28 | ToThineOwnSelf BeTrue | They are well intentioned but I'm not sure I should have gone with Aura. One of my peeves: when I transfer money within my personal accounts I'm notified of potential fraud -- & have to ok it even though they know it's within my personal accounts. Also, it is often a day or many hours after the transfer has occurred that I'm notified -- if it was really fraud I'd be screwed by then. Also, all login data for different sites must be keyed manually instead of being captured. Annoying.
2024-10-19 | Sean Gleason | 10-19-24. A very good service but a mediocre app. Seems to break with every update. Latest problem - hangs up on callers and won't allow them to leave a msg. IT resolved it initially, but it still has issues. I've been on the phone with Aura IT multiple times, and have had 3 service tickets for various problems. The update in june unlinked accounts and broke social media monitoring. This has been resolved. The app is slowly getting better.
2024-10-15 | Katannah Dadas | I've been trying to cancel my subscription for 2 months now, but I can't even get to the page that would let me. All I get is an error, and I tried on both my laptop and my phone. Their ai was 0 help, I shouldn't have to call someone just to cancel a subscription at least not for one that you're supposed to be able to cancel directly in their app. I don't have the extra cash to spend on something I don't need, that money goes to things like food. Do not get this app |
