| 2024-08-18 |  | | It has great potential, but the translations are not literal or verbatim. It is just lazy to change the meaning when it effects how we interpret individual words. "In unserum urlaub besuchen wir Italien" is clearly not "We visit Italy in our holidays" , especially when it clearly starts with, " in our". This does not help us to learn what the individual words mean. I shouldn't need Google translate to use the app. |

The nouns are taught without articles, which makes it difficult to memorise the gender of them. Also, the application does not adapt the lessons to your individual results. For example, if you attend another German course in parallel, your progress will be better than the score you earned in the application, and the difficulty level of the daily lessons gets inappropriate. |

The free program so far is actually great as it is; I just want to reward a really good group of teaching apps. While I can afford it mind you. $48 a year I can afford; anything >$100/y, let alone ~$470/y, I can't afford no matter how much I like it. |
| 2022-06-14 |  | | Best language app I've used, and I've used A LOT of them. It covers all aspects: reading, writing/typing, pronunciation, and dialogue! Honestly the best alternative if you're not able to learn in person. They have a good selection of languages and are continously adding new languages to the list. Only suggestion would be to cover visual languages i.e. Sign Language as well, it would be great if I could continue my ASL on this app as well. |

It also allows you various methods of understanding the language by giving you various opportunities by listening and typing out what you hear. Super exciting however, the app when downloaded show its free however there is a subscription required after the 7 day free trail period |
| 2021-07-01 |  | | DO NOT BUY. Down to 1 star because I cancelled after not using it for over a year. A couple months later I get charged for another full year. They asked for a cancellation number. Never recieved one BOTH times I tried. Had to go to PayPal to get an email to have THEM confirm a cancellation. I thought I could at least get a refund because I was no longer on the app. NOPE. "YOU AGREED TO PAY. YOU GOT A WARNING EMAIL. NO REFUND." ...no I cancelled and didn't get a confirm nor emails. Not. Good. |
| 2020-08-16 |  | | I disinstalled it. It insists too much on paying to have premium, and it did not recognise that yesterday I did my daily lesson.... I see the points but the lesson shows as never done then I cannot do the weekly test. The apps crashes too often if you use it for too long, but if you do a maximum 30 minutes session it works well. I like how is well designed, very easy to use and very useful. I still like it but I won't use anymore an app that try to force people to pay. Fix this problem. please. |

You can't even check all of the functionallities and you immediatelly have to pay or delete the app. It is dissapointing, because it can be a great app. What I don't understand why each an every app pricing their services to 10 EUR. If the price would be 2-3 EUR / month without one year sub. then it will be a grait app again. But with the current setup it is disappointing 😟😟😟. |
