When the time is ready smart phones or other smart devices can not connect to the net at all. You need to tap reward function for a few times before equipments conect to net.It's really inconvenient! And i cannot connect my nas from outside. |
| 2024-11-26 |  | | After this last update, my Asus rt-ax82u lost my 2.4g channel. The channel is transmitting but does not have internet. I have logged into the router and checked the settings. I've rebooted the device with zero success. l my several smart devices that are not working. I have several Govee and Phillips Hue devices that no longer connect. Before the update, everything worked flawlessly. Please fix this issue asap! |
| 2024-11-13 |  | | Up until the latest firmware update for my Gt Be98 Pro, the app has had no connection issues when off network. Now no matter what I do when out and about away from my home network, It will not connect. I've factory reset the router, reconfigured my settings, and nothing. While connected via Wi-Fi to my network, everything is fine. Not sure if it's a bug in the firmware that will not allow me to connect via the web. |

What's the secret?? Checked further and it works fine on my Google Pixel 8 Pro, but not on my Google Pixel 9 Pro XL. Both are running version 1.0.0.8.80. I can't tell from your supported models list if the RT-AX**U models are supported. |

I just wasted a couple hours trying to login with an old password cause it was unintuitive to find the Google login icon. Some of this stuff we set up years ago and don't remember the options unless they are all visible on first menu. |

To unlock the router's complete features, you're forced to agree to Asus selling your personal data to third parties. This includes essential security functions. | 2024-09-19 |  | | It keeps showing the router is offline. Even though I can see the networks when I scan. It keeps telling me to log in even though it has my account open under the Home tab. I'm logged in through my Google account. It keeps telling me my password is wrong. I'd like to reset my password, but there's no link. Also, there's a notification under Devices, but when I select the tab it just says connection every time. |

After configuring the router via LAN connection to a laptop, the only time the app can see the device is when it's already connected to a network. Not functional as a means to manage a travel router. The UI is pretty, but not very functional either. The most needed features are buried deep behind mintiple menus and "help" links redirect to sales pages... HEY, stop telling me about all they great features and help me to use them! |
| 2024-09-14 |  | | Generally a decent app but is missing and a simple but crucial feature. You can see a device list and in that list you can see the bandwidth being used by each device. But you can't sort that device list by bandwidth usage of either upload or download speeds. I have over 100 devices connected to this router and it would be incredibly useful to be able to sort by download or upload bandwidth used so that I could identify data-hungry devices and disable them if needed. This is a big Miss by Asus. |

I get "operation failed" half the time when trying to do things within the app. Due to how badly this app is managed I'll be researching and switching to and different router for better app configuration. Update 9-6-24. It's still garbage. Lol. |
