2024-11-27 | Your Worst Nightmare | It's good. The thing that transfers your Playlist out of 500 songs, I wound up with 50! The rest are songs that were not in the Playlist at all or covers. When I go to remove them, by clicking the 3 dots, it doesn't respond. I'll be sticking with YouTube Music, this is the 3rd time I've tried to switch back with the exact same results... Also it would be nice if it could organize the songs under the Artists names rather than scroll through an entire imported Playlist to find the song you want.
2024-11-26 | Braxton Vice | Absolutely loving the app more than I ever have. Only slight issue is with searching. I wish it was a little bit more predictable and I think being able to search for specific quality songs as in terms of khz or bitrate would be amazing! EDIT: Should add 5 or 10 second skipping for each track
2024-11-25 | Bruno Mendieta | Keeps crashing while playing 24bit music, tried clearing cache, updating, uninstalling, reinstalling, and the issue is still there, I ended up canceling my subscription after two months. It's even more annoying if you travel a lot, or if you just need to use the offline mode, it takes about one to three minutes to start playing the first song, this behavior happens everytime you restart the app. So the app might crash out of the blue while playing 24bit songs for you to wait 2 to 3 minutes again
2024-11-25 | Shane Barnes | Switched from Spotify to check out that sweet lossless audio. Tried a few services and I really wanted to go with Tidal. Music sounds amazing, best of them all for sure. Catalogue is solid too, only a handful of tracks missing. Where I ran into a wall was downloading music for offline listening. I was only able to download about half of my music, then the downloads got stuck. Tried every fix in the book, but no dice. If that's not important to you then you'll love Tidal. Deal breaker for me tho
2024-11-24 | Phaidros706 (Phaidros706) | I love using Tidal, the interface is great and looks better than all the other players I've used. The one HUGE missing feature that and music player must have is a history feature, but that is completely missing from this app. Almost a deal breaker for me because it's so annoying, however, there is an app called last.fm that makes up for the lack of a history feature. I do also wish the app and desktop player would let you remotely control audio from a different like Spotify does.
2024-11-19 | Jacob Brandt | this app is in shambles. the app hardly functions its an absolute nightmare. Highlights - randomly deleting hundreds of downloaded songs - "internet connection" "streaming not allowed" - random errors that interrupt play for ZERO reason - inability to shift between wifi and local streaming, interrupted songs i have downloaded at max qual. because they try and stream them - shuffle is AWFUL - UI built with sticks and glue the ONLY reason to use this is for the exceptionally good audio quality.
2024-11-18 | Bgl Jukebox | Quality audio as advertised. Love access to "out of the way songs." Just music, focuses on music and only music; there's nothing taking away from the reason someone wants a music service. Search results are good, but I'd like see improved for niche songs and soundtracks. Discovery system so much better than Spotify; it will bring tears. Update: Latest update broke Tidal for Android Auto. I've verified the AA is utd, as well as the car's system. Other apps continue to work. I've un/reinstaled.
2024-11-18 | Ron Sisko | My goodness, do I hate this app. I live in a pretty remote area and I download almost everything I listen to and it doesn't matter what I do, accessing that music becomes nearly impossible when I lose signal. The mixes are also never downloaded because everytime I click on them, the entire Playlist has changed. I am still going to use Tidal because I want artists to be paid better, but this app is awful.
2024-11-17 | Ethan | The sound quality is better than what you're going to get somewhere else for sure. there's a lot of little features missing that make the app really inconvenient to use though . when I want to add a song to a playlist I have to scroll manually instead of just searching for the playlist title. really inconvenient when you have a lot of playlists. lots of missing artists and music. not seeing playlists that other users made either with search.
2024-11-15 | Zach | Edit: this app no longer supports Samsung tv's. My TV is a way for me to play high quality music files without the sacrificed quality that Bluetooth provides. I will be debating if this app is still worth paying for after exploring if I can find a way to match audio quality with blue tooth. I also miss playing music videos on my TV. This is disappointing. |
