Wow! How terrible is that Text to Speech that doesn't continue playing when the screen goes to sleep. Trying to read along with the physical book, but I have to keep my phone awake to keep the audio playing. It's not a great option for audio, but it's all that's available. Also issues highlighting keyword terms in the text, because they link to the glossary when tapped. Not the most intuitive navigation, but the app works in a pinch.

Tables are impossible to zoom in on, making them illegible. The text to speech engine they use is awful, rendering it unusable. For the price I paid for a book that advertised a digital version and an audio version, I expected much much better.

Feel like this app could be amazing but I don't think the creators are doing any update. It freezes alot and the sides won't move at all. It's better just to use the web base version

Works a little better than the website and lets you read books offline. But it still has some weird bugs. For example, on the phone protect the speech will literally only read one sentence at a time and won't let you turn the screen off or it stops. And why does it have to close the app and make you reopen it to tell you that Wi-Fi isn't able to or mobile data is enabled? And the bookmark and back and forth buttons are a little confusing, but they do help.

See inability to control the reading speed makes the e-reader basically unusable. This is a problem on their webbased reader and app. The page jumps all over the place so the highlighted line that is being read is either in the middle or at the bottom you can't scroll down to see what else is coming.

To the developer, Why create a phone app that is meant to have TTS, but only be able to do it while the screen is on? The point should be to listen to the books while doing other task. The play needs more control, such as voice, speed and volume.

The app is excellent but, I get a issue with the app when I'm reading a book in my phone, specifically Atención Prehospitalaria Básica by AAOS, some tables and images with text look very small to be read and there is no option to make zoom. Could it be fixed? Please, this app is excellent. (Sorry for my bad English, I'm still learning)

My 3 depends on if they can fix this problem. I can't listen to the textbook unless my screen is on and app is on top. That makes this reader completely unusable. There is no reason to buy the ebook if you can't have it read you the book without having the screen open. What makes that different than reading? This may be useless unless this tremendous flaw is not fixed. Other ereaders do that and keep intellectual property. Called tech support no solution. I only need it this month.

Take that $400 the fire+EMT textbooks cost and actually make an app thats usable. Thank God we're required to pick up these textbooks and be stuck with this garbage. I can't even log in on the app anymore without some massive crash or error message. Having this software is 100% useless if I am not sitting on a real computer.

App is beyond terrible. I've had to redownload the textbooks almost weekly due to " something went wrong" error ( one textbook for some weird reason takes almost an hour to download... The heck is up with that?). It's constantly popping notifications about my WiFi connecting, disconnecting when app isn't in use ( why is this happening). Highly recommend using website access and avoid this app.
