2024-10-27 | Gone | I wish the developer release similar app like this for screen timeout. I like this app because I could open a widget-like by just taping on the app icon. This helps to save space on the homescreen.
2024-10-12 | N0 NAME | Should be able to increase the brightness to the opposite of 0, 100% is the limit? 0 is almost total Black, one should be able to adjust to about whitewash the screen brightness. Holding down the preset % does nothing, as the option to enter a value doesn't work. Use Sound Boost as an example. The higher volume selected, you get a higher volume, in this brightness app one get no appreciable increase.
2024-09-28 | humanoidcylon | Honestly, this is one of the apps I use the most. It's so simple yet so effective. To adjust your brightness through this app is way more efficient than dragging your finger across a slider.
2024-07-31 | Feodor Alexeev | Works well. On a pixel 8 pro you can also use an app called "button master" to open THIS app which avoids button master's built in brightness control (which is bigged on a pixel 8) and this allows for much better control over brightness. This app is affected by the bug but the fact that you can choose the exact percentage of the screen brightness and configure it to several buttons makes it a breeze to work around.
2024-07-13 | lynn | finally!!! i've downloaded app after app trying to control the brightness on my phone, i never adjust for use anywhere but it still seemed just to dim, threw this app at my zflip 3 & boom, i don't even think about the brightness anymore bc it's always there, my 1 gripe is sometimes it pulses from dim to bright, but it stops after about 20 25 secs & i'm easy to get along with so i was cool with it, love this app
2024-07-06 | STRIKER | Absolutely convenient app for Motorola g84. For some reason moto devs did not add the visible percentage to the brightness slider in down slide quick menu The only possible option to see the percentage of the brightness slider originally is go through the display settings tab, which is absolutely dumb. I don't want to open settings every single time when I need to change the brightness level to see the actual percentage.
2024-06-01 | Basement Doc | Samsung dim daylight fix This app actually fixed Samsung's shoddy control system for daylight brightness where the phone can't be viewed outside after about 60 seconds due to Samsung's turning down the max brightness. It's a shame that we require an external app to be able to control our phones Samsung. I'll be looking for another manufacturer next time
2024-04-26 | Jason Merrick | Fantastically useful app! The brightness slider on my S24 Ultra is very hard to adjust to lower brightness levels. It seems like the middle 90% of the bar is unused, as it's either full bright or struggling to get it low enough to not be blinding at night. The only feature the app is missing is App Actions. Would love the ability to add an app action to my sleep routine so that I could set the brightness to 3% on a schedule.
2023-05-10 | Eric Hill | I'm another person who would like to be able to calibrate the values to the phone's slider. 50% and above is full brightness, 10% is about half brightness, 5% is 1/3, and 0% is 5% or so, which is fine and the only one I wouldn't change. Besides that, it's basically all I need.
2023-01-21 | paul b | I hate having a screen that's too bright. This app allows me to easily and explicitly set the brightness level according to my environment. No permissions required; justs sits there and works every time. |
