2024-12-08 | Sebastian Keeling | Great when it works but half the time you click record in the app and it pulls up the loading icon and freezes. Never starts recording and you have to force stop the app and turn off the camera. I'm constantly losing footage to this app. Should have spent the money on a GoPro. EDIT: After reading the most recent reviews of this app it's apparent that it's terrible. How can you sell such expensive products dependant on an app that doesn't work? Absolutely atrocious. | |
2024-11-28 | Andrew P | Why can't I put more than one 360 clip on a timeline and export AS 360? It's a 360 camera. I expect 360 video. I didn't buy an $800 360 camera for low res flat reframed video. It needs to export 360. Period. Studo also doesn't do that. Ridiculous. Also, why can't I export higher than 4k360,when studio does 6k360, and the S23 Ultra's GPU is faster than most laptops? Makes no sense. The list of "cants" exceeds "cans". Better fix this if you want your top spenders to stick around. | |

Seeing issues regarding the app and file transfer to the insta360 Studio program. when I edit the key frames from the insta360 app. I'm able to see it, but when I transfer my video to the Insta360 Studio software. 2024-11-23 | Patrick Toledo Vera | There is something wrong going on with my app. The app opens up but when I go to my album, it says network problem please check network but I have good network. Either it's my wifi or mobile data I get the same thing. And when I press one of my videos to edit it just crashes and restarts the app like nothing happened and sometimes when it crashes, a notification pops up saying insta360 couldn't load cause of a bug and it's been like this for a week and I don't know why. For example I cannot use the camera without downloading the app and allowing access to location. With the number of companies getting hacked and losing client data. 2024-11-04 | Eli | I've been using editing programs for decades and this (app and desktop) is the least user friendly I've ever encountered. Once you log into all of your devices and wait for the latest updates, and download footage from the camera, you just about burnt through all of the time you've set aside to edit. Trimming on this app is garbage. And what the heck is the brush icon for? I can't find it online anywhere to include the 360 website. Why can't there simply be an option to trash unwanted clips? | |

The accessories are gre . . .oh, wait, this is an app review. Did I mention it works? Big whoop it's supposed to work. The social media score keeping takes center stage and minimizes app's potential. 2024-10-19 | Steve Shergold | Continues to frustrate. If you turn on the camera while exporting and then turn the camera off, it will fail the export. It also really needs to be able to export in the background. An hour long export means you can not do anything else. Can't label clips or colour code for easy recognition or change thumbnail. Not able to configure source clips to go to the phone user memory area (DCIM) to save space, also cannot move them. Restarted phone, all keyframes for 20 clips gone. | |
2024-10-08 | David Dodge | The app is fairly intuitive but I don't like that, when you edit multiple files into one video you can't do any of the "movement" options that are available when working with just one video clip. Additionally, the fact that, when exporting, if you pick up your mobile device and it accidentally changes its orientation from portrait to landscape it will stop exporting and go back to your album. You'll then have to locate the clip you were exporting and start over. Frustrating! | |
2024-09-26 | Lucas Blaney | Update 2: once in a lifetime opportunity sailing under Golden Gate bridge. X4 crashes after recording for 24 seconds. The products just aren't reliable and this will be my last purchase from this company. Update: I received nothing for my previous issue. They should have warned about the migration issues. Old: "Migrated" my data over from the old app. It's all gone. Fully wiped. Goodbye Christmas 2022. |
