2024-11-10 | neil gurule | It's a great game, I grew up watching Looney tunes. I dislike rating this app/game a 1 star, but I hate how much money this greedy game wants you to spend. Who in the hell wants to drop $99 dollars to unlock a couple of tunes? A season pass is $20. I can't complete certain events until I empty my bank account to unlock specific tunes? These phone games should not be a pay to win. Should let us gring to unlock every tune.
2024-08-03 | Jacob Bamberg | I LOVE this game!!!! The toons, the ability to ACTUALLY play the game without spending money. However, there are a few flaws. I wish gem prices didn't increase when buying energy. Also, without energy and enough gems to purchase them, the game can get pretty boring. UPDATE. It doesn't save your your toon progress sometimes, but it might just be that I'm not letting it save, idk.
2024-07-30 | John Poteralski | Tried starting to play but my phone froze at the tutorial. Playing and having fun is one thing but playing and having the game freeze at the tutorial? Unforgiveable. I would give a higher review if I can get past the tutorial without my phone freezing in certain areas of it. The sad thing is I really like it. Takes a stroll down memory lane.
2024-07-29 | Remy Smith | The characters are well thought out and robust. Otherwise this game is an absolute mess. It may very well have the most glitches I've ever encountered. An amateur affair brought to you by Scopely who should know better. Update: Down from two to one star. Game freezes up now whenever you attempt to use gems to refill energy. Restarted games multiple times and rebooted phone. 07/28/24 update. Nothing has improved and they're more money grubbing than ever.
2024-07-26 | Robert Ruvolo | I absolutely love this game the animation in character design is beautiful. My only complaint a lot of the characters are locked off and require quite amount of money to obtain or you need certain characters that are just unattainable unless you pay. I wish they would bring back the world just looking at my characters in the home screen is kind of boring. I missed when they roamed around the map and I can build my own loony world I hope they bring the world map back at some point
2022-01-12 | dirk gently | I enjoy this game. It is a great time. However there are some serious flaws in the game that prevent it from being considered a quality game or experience. From being unable to change gears (when one doesn't have any brawl chests at all, because the character is active in brawl) to having to wait up to 15 minutes for the game to acknowledge completed actions, to the 'pay to win' atmosphere, there are a great many flaws, issues and or bugs in this game. I'll keep playing this broken game.
2021-10-01 | Edward Travels With the World | It's almost embarrassing how much time and enjoyment I've got out of this game. That being said, this game goes through changes which have made me quit a few times altogether. The current changes have made long-term players unable to do almost anything enjoyable anymore. Whenever free-to-play players have found areas of the game they can progress in well and be competitive, the developers find a way to nerf them. Great strategy based battles! Great characters and nostalgia! So much good, but...
2021-03-04 | PowerPenguin459 | Love this game. I enjoy seeing all the OG characters come together. But the game is pretty much pay to win. For starters, if you want to have a chance to get Ninja Ralph, you need to pay 20 dollars just to get the pass. Has really bad bugs. Sometimes when i try to by more energy, the screen gos dark and i have to keep logging in and out to get it to work again. Another one is when you finish a battle and it won't let you continue. Finally, when you enter a battle, it wont load. But they fixed it
2021-02-22 | Ryker Colossus (Brian) | Great animations & combat system. World of Mayhem is a great foundation for a game. Sadly, this game is the pinnacle of pay to win games. The sheer number of paid app purchases is dizzying. You can complete mission objectives by buying content and it makes the game feel like a cash grab despite it's excellent design. I've also experienced more than a few glitches including being unable to interact with the UI. (Feb. 20, 2020) The latest 'scarf' event requires you to already have a set of required toons or buy them. Additionally, event objectives you can complete through purchases. I strongly do not recommend this game.
2020-12-22 | Richard White | Updated review after playing for a year. It's been a bit of a roller coaster ride. After reaching level 20 it took substantial amounts of $ to advance in the game. For a while it seemed to level out and the expense was bearable. Now with new characters introduced with unbelievable strength the game is yet again a money pit. Teams of new Toons are exceptionally powerful & can easily wipe out my teams rated numerically much higher. If they don't fix the imbalance there's no way I can afford it. 🤬 |
