2024-11-13 | RMX Automotive | Note: recent updates (early 2024?) introduce obnoxious ads. My prior review: The only keyboard that doesn't constantly make me want to smash the phone into tiny pieces. I like that it doesn't try to censor me or insert garbage that I never intended to type. I had all but given up on the whole Android platform until I found this. It's not quite perfect, but it's the best there is, especially for highly literate and multilingual users.
2024-11-01 | R. Radowicz | Why on earth would you add ä,ö,ü, ONTO the keyboard in the geman setting, when it could be used when holding a,o, or u??? It makes the keys smaller again, and therefore unusable🤦🏻♀️ Edit: The layout in English and Italian are spaced perfectly. However, the keys don't react for me, unless pressed exactly right. After choosing a word from auto correct, it doesn'tuse an automaticspace bar. To the creator's response(thank you):"I don't want to find out how🤷🏻♀️uninstalled.
2024-10-22 | Govt Protected Private-Party | When I use this keyboard online using the Duck Duck Go browser (& few other search engines), the Comma (key) vanishes and is no longer an available option. This is frustrating when inputting or searching a city & state and need a comma to separate the two (city, state). The keyboard looks exactly the same Classic Keyboard (this app) except for missing the Comma key, but the Comma key is here/there when typing this comment/review. Comma key is on bottom left side normally.
2024-08-07 | Todd | clipboard does not let you use screen shots. Spell checker needs a lot of work. At least letter does not try to use Latin letters as does gboard by. Google. Theses add or fix good givecit a 5 star. .Spell checker is very poor.. It can find coomon word to correct spelling. It better then a few others here . Still need some work. I like it that you can remove the borders around the keys... Oh be nice to save stuff to clip board. This would make it better too.
2024-08-06 | John Walker | HOLY COW! Attention former Smart Keyboard users, and everyone else for that matter. What a thoroughly useful keyboard! There just isn't enough room, here, to convey the awesomeness of this thing, but if you're looking for a highly functional and customizable keyboard, you've gotta give this a try. I never saw an ad while test driving it, but subscribed anyway, and will soon buy lifetime. Seriously, if you're the no-nonsense type, don't waste your time looking any further. Major kudos, dev!
2023-08-03 | shaboo2 | The absolute WORST correcting and predictive text of any I have ever used. Not even close. UPDATE 7-18-23, three years later: STILL the worst predictions and most limited spellcheck dictionary ANYWHERE. Example: type Ill, (the contraction for "I will") ALL other keyboards on the planet will auto-correct to " I'll ". This one not only didn't correct, it also didn't even give the OPTION to select the correct one! And that's not even the worst. Deleted app. Gone forever. Poof.
2023-07-04 | Jenny Levich Westberg | Gorgeous! But looks aren't everything. When installing, it says, "This input method may be able to collect all the text you type, including personal data like passwords & credit card numbers." That's not good! If you go on, it warns that if you have a screen lock, the keyboard can't start until you unlock the phone. Huh? I need SOME keyboard to unlock my phone. It's kinda like, hey, there's a chance this app will paralyze the keyboard, but if not, mind the security risk! :-O
2021-07-15 | Brandon Smith | I originally thought the keyboard was awesome. It did what I wanted it to do... until it didn't. I realized quickly you can't type fast on this thing. The space bar is too close to the lower keys and often I will type a word with a b in place of the space. Like this: hellobthere and it doesn't correct it. No matter how I adjust height, or corrections it refuses to fix the most basic spelling errors. Wish I hadn't spent money to unlock to full version when it just doesn't type as well.
2021-06-26 | Jerry Horne | Outstanding!!! My Google keyboard began to fail, and probably because of my screen. Then after downnloading the MS keyboard, it did exactly the same thing. Classic Big not only works perfectly, but is the best and easiest to use that I have EVER had on my Android phone. Many thanks to the developers of such a fine keyboard. I sincerely wish I had discovered this a long time ago!!!
2020-11-02 | gregg wilson | So far perfect. I dont give demerits for spellchecking or emojis. I'm old. But being able to type in a password that contains lower and upper case letters, numbers, and symbols without switching keyboards is very cool beans. Later. I really like the ? too Right now I'm trying to see if the "Rate the app" on the top right goes away if I do this. |
