2024-12-17 | Travis Turner | I purchased this app in the last year. Spent a fair amount of time entering and tweaking data and, with the last update, lost it all (3 days before an elk hunt). Tried contacting the company via email with no response. I liked some things about this app but being unreliable is an absolute deal breaker. I'll be using a different ballistic app from now on.
2024-12-17 | Ken Miller | Used the original for years. This new one is horrible. Hate scrolling through every load, the interface not as streamlined. Used to be able to build a gun, and just tweak loads. Now every option is a complete ground up build. Not happy. How can we restore the old app?
2024-12-15 | Quincy Carter | Used AB for years, and so many hrs logged in to just loose everything. The 30 bones was a waste, but the thousands of rounds down rang are gone forever. There are many different weapons that are basically useless to me now when it come to my dope. This app is a joke and a waste of time and $$$. Would not recommend to any shooter
2024-12-10 | Chad Crawford | Been using this app for years....bring the old version back, this is garbage! No more organizing by rifle, just by load. My data carried over for the update, but iin duplicate for some reason. Must close to a hundred loads I have to scroll through now looking for the one I want. And no more 100-1000 yds numerical chart, just single shot. Have to change distance input for every yard line to get the relevant data. Going to replace this nonsense with something more usable.
2024-12-09 | Michael Okopny | New UI is horrible, and lost access to the ballistic calibration tool. Only reason I purchased this app was for that function. The only advantage AB had over strelok is gone now. Additionally why are options that I had access to with the paid version that I paid for suddenly now unavailable unless I subscribe? Edit: they suggested I sign in to the cloudsync, now all of my existing profiles have been deleted. What a terrible execution of an update on what used to be a good app.
2024-12-06 | Taylor McClung | Had it for about 3 minutes. Saw that it is subscription based, so I uninstalled it. Strelok has been great for me. I just wanted to check out the app that my Vortex binoculars use. My binoculars calculate bullet drop with Applied ballistics software. All my presets had to be trued up. Stelok did not need any truing and it was a reasonable one time fee. Somehow, the Vortex Fury HD AB does not pair with this app and not in the list. It's odd that I did mention the brand in my first comment.
2024-12-06 | Christopher Sykes | 12/5/24 update: AB was great with a quick reply to my original review and pushed out an update for the app that fixed the issue. Many thanks! Original: Updated 12/5/24 presumably to the AB Quantum version and now I just get an error message saying the app has a bug and won't even open. Hopefully my paid content and saved profiles aren't lost! I will try to update this review once the issue is fixed and I can get back into the app to verify my data (paid/saved) is still there. Fingers crossed!
2024-12-05 | ray sloan | Update on 12/4 did not fix this issue: zero offsets between same rifle/ bullet combos are combined to all have the same zero offset. So all combos of one rifle all have same zero, regardless of bullet and muzzle device. Update on 12/4 fixed this issue: I had different names for different combinations, and it eliminated the custom bullet names and replaced them with the generics.
2024-12-04 | Keiran Mans | I updated my old AB app to the new AB Quantum. I do not have any device that I want to connect to with Bluetooth, however the app will not allow me to have my Bluetooth off and shuts down if Bluetooth is not on. Putting in wind speeds seems to not work properly. I put in 3m/s, press enter, and it changes to 2m/s. I press the plus button to change it to 3, it goes up. I press the minus button to go back to 2 and it doesn't go down. However the correction provided by the app does go down slightly
2024-12-03 | Trevor O'Banion | The app updated between my last hunt and now, and I lost all the rifle profiles I had stored in it! Fix this, AB! Also, they don't even my MOAR reticle in as an option for Nightforce scopes?! All it says is ATACR. Not ATACR F1 5-25x56, with a list of the available reticles.... This is very frustrating. I have had this app for years and absolutely loved it. Now I'm thinking about doing something else. |
