Tracker Detect looks for item trackers that are separated from their owner and that are compatible with Apple’s Find My network. These item trackers include AirTag and compatible devices from other companies. If you think someone is using AirTag or another device to track your location, you can scan to try to find it.

Though the Airtag is supposed to be out of range of its owner for a certain amount of time before this app will detect it and alert you, it doesn't work most of the time. So when it says no trackers detected, it's hard to trust that none are actually present. I know it's an app for Android, and that's probably why Apple choose is not to make it exceptional, but I really wish they would.

Barely works. You have to scan for airtags and then it might get one sometimes out of the 4 I have. Then once it finds one, I can click on it and to play the sound you need to wait 10 minutes without closing the app otherwise it will forget it. Even if you scan again it acts like it's the first time seeing the airtag.

App was last updated Feb of '22. Seriously? Use the built in option on your android phone, as long as the OS supports it and you have a recent phone such as pixel 7 or 8, maybe 6, but probably won't work on pixel 2. I tried the app and was able to see one after scanning with the app but didn't hear anything after 10 minutes of waiting to play a sound, and it didn't tell me anything such as distance etc. Removed.
