2024-09-29 | Merriann Sherwood | Exceeded my expectations I hesitated to try this based on bad reviews, but thought it wouldn't hurt to try. Has bad conversion from S6 to Iphone 6 many years ago, but this time no issues S9 to IPhone 13,. I followed the tip to keep the IPhone awake. Thought it dropped some contacts, but was a sort order setting. Still verifying what was missed but guessing those items were on my SD card. This app made a very painful process so much easier. Hate new phone setups. Couldn't have asked for more 🙂❤
2024-04-24 | Lily Gaschel | I was extremely hesitant to move from a pixel phone to an iphone after I saw the mixed reviews for this app, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway, thinking it couldn't possibly be as bad as the reviews said. But after transferring my data half of my contacts were merged into groups I lost a majority of my text messages, pictures have become a jumbled mess, and have completely wrong dates. I would strongly suggest looking into other options rather than risking your data by using this app.
2024-04-07 | Daniel Gawędzki | This app is riddled with bugs that seem to be affecting every device. The calculation for estimating time can take an inappropriate amount of time, or never even progress. The estimated time to completion is very inaccurate and changes inconsistently. There is a bug where the transfer gets stuck at 1 minute on the apple device. Apparently all of these bugs have been around a really long time and haven't been fixed. The app is also somewhat slow, the transfer is crawling at best.
2023-01-10 | Jenny Ryals | This app is garbage. I have done every bit of troubleshooting but it keeps getting stuck at 1 minute left (for 7+hours) until I give up, cancel it, and try again. My WiFi connection is absolutely not the problem, nor is the amount of data being transferred, yet here we are. This is my first iPhone ever and this nightmare of a transfer process has made me seriously question my decision to switch to iOS.
2022-08-01 | John Tiede (Jack) | I'm sure it's hard on the technical side to switch from Android file formats to iOS, but this app pretty completely fails at achieving this goal. The file transfer ALMOST completed the first time I did it, but my new iPhone fell asleep (quite easy to do because in setup you can't change how long it takes for the screen to sleep, meaning I had to tap it every 30 seconds for HOURS), and the transfer failed anyway. After many more attempts I just gave up on transferring most data.
2022-07-13 | Sarah A | Like others, I am trying to transfer my text messages from Android to iPhone but only the sent messages showed. The sent messages are all in ugly green text (of course). I have tried numerous times to get my conversations transferred but no success. I backed up my text messages to an XML file with SMS Backup & Restore Android app to G drive. I highly recommend it for Android users. I now regret my decision to trade in my Note 9 for an iPhone. I never had any trouble with Android transfers.
2022-04-21 | Walter Smith | Seriously, don't waste your time with this app. I tried transferring data from a moto x4 to an iPhone 13 and the process never completed. The app takes 10-15 minutes just to get the phones connected, even when I was on the same private wi-fi. Once finally connected, the estimated time to complete was inaccurate. The iPhone showed 11 hours to complete the data transfer, but proceeded through the first "six hours" in about one hour. The next five hours was about correct, but it got to one minute remaining and never got past it. I waited thirty minutes additional minutes before giving up. Not sure what I'll do now, but save yourself from this headache.
2022-04-14 | Rourke Buechel | Horrible, I can't get it to work. I've tried restarting both phones, turning on wifi only and turning everything else off including mobile data and Bluetooth and other background apps. It gets hung up at "1 minute remaining". I even let it sit like that overnight for about 7 hours and still nothing. This is why I was afraid to switch to apple and I'm tempted to take the phone back at this point.
2022-03-31 | Laura Cunningham | This app doesn't work. I'm only trying to transfer my messages from a pixel 3a and get a transfer error every time. The transfer makes it to about 35-40min remaining and dies. I've tried every "fix" I can find on the internet, all with the same result. Both phones are plugged in, SIM removed from Android, no apps running in the background, phones connect on private wifi, Fail. This really shouldn't be so hard.
2022-01-25 | Dana Gold | Embarrassed to say I wasted a week of my life to try to transfer just 16 gigs from Note 9 to iPhone. Spent several hours uploading videos/photos to flash drive to reduce from about 25 gb to just 12. Even the 12 gb wouldn't transfer. Every time you have an error, instead of picking up where you left off it starts over creating several duplicates of the little bit you can get to transfer. I'm sure they do this by design to prevent you from switching to Apple. I literally cried in frustration. |
