| 2024-11-30 |  | | I've been using AOL mail for over 20 years and it's the best in my opinion. I also have Gmail & outlook that I'm comparing this to and AOL just outperforms them in user ability. Easier, faster, and more efficient in sending images and documents. I wish they offered business features. I'd use them in a heartbeat! |
| 2024-11-25 |  | | Figured out a workaround for the most annoying skip!!! Not disclosing what it is - don't want it to be ruined. Next issue is the blank space where content should be - cleared the cache and still only getting headlines and no content....this app, like many virtual things, gets worse and worse the more they "evovle" their technology |
| 2024-10-28 |  | | I've been using this app for a long time and I've been having so many issues with it and I can't seem to ever reach tech support or anyone from AOL. I have a paid subscription to AOL Mail+ but it doesn't show the features in the app anymore. For example, my direct to inbox upon opening toggle isn't there anymore. It's so beyond frustrating to pay for something and not be able to use it. |
| 2024-10-27 |  | | Aol updated my app and the In Box is all white with an ugly purple banner at the top. There is no longer any way to change the theme, background, colors, etc. I hate the white, it's hard on the eyes. I always use a black or very dark background. PLEASE FIX THIS!! |
| 2024-10-26 |  | | Unnecessary changes. I should have known whe the app on my phone changes colors out of the blue that something was going to go wrong. Suddenly today with no change by me Dark Mode no longer works on my Samsung S22 Ultra. There is a newly worded setting where you can toggle whether you want to mirror device's light or dark setting. Only problem is it does not work. I cannot get to dark mode even though that is my device default. I am visually impaired and cannot read my emails without dark mode. |
| 2024-10-10 |  | | Mail works. However, when I click on a news article notification I want to read, the app doesn't open the article. It opens the app and immediately closes the app. Also, sometimes, the article won't scroll down. Lastly, sometimes the article will get stuck, and when I click on another article, it keeps it to the one I'm currently stuck on. I have to close the app to fix it. |
| 2024-10-08 |  | | I've been using AOL for over 30 years and loved it until recently. In August of 2024 the app was accidentally deleted from my Samsung S20 and when I reinstalled AOL, I no longer have the option to change the notification sound inside the app. It was a feature I relied upon to distinguish between personal and bussiness emails. I'm very disappointed. |
| 2024-10-02 |  | | 10/2/24. I delete emails and they do NOT delete! 9/13: Gotten better, much better! The One UI5.1 is not available for my phone yet. Have UI5.0. It will not update. Your email page still is horrible. Trying to write an email in AOL is truly challenging. While typing, the screen jumps all over the place. And I've read that hundreds have this same problem! |
| 2024-09-12 |  | | I have used this app seems forever, suddenly it's not working properly. I get the news, etc., but now my email won't open. I've uninstalledreinstalled twice. Still nothing. Email is the only thing I use it for. I called customer support thinking it was an account problem. It's not. Works fine in a browser. After helping me customer support wanted to charge me for upgraded account support. When I said no, they said I could pay for a 1 time customer help. I said no. So, ???? |
| 2024-09-03 |  | | The app would get 5 stars, but I removed 2 because there is no option for blocking emails from specific senders. This option is available when accessing emails on AOL website. Therefore, I can't understand why that option couldn't be offered as a feature on the app. I don't want to have to keep deleting emails from the same spam senders everyday and if I have to go to AOL website to block senders because I can't block them on app, that defeats a lot of the whole reason for having the app. |
