2024-08-22 | Wendy Ann Stewart | So easy to use and seeing as I am disabled it allows me to read the Mail every day as there are no delivery services in our town. I did try buying from a London company online but they were so unreliable it was hard to believe, half the time they would send me a red top rag. However with the app it is fantastic and because I would have great difficulty holding the whole paper reading the app on my phone is so easy.
2023-07-17 | Pam | The Daily Mail gives you what you expect. The News. As with much news published today, there is often a view from which articles are written. However, that view is often obviously implied, if not positioned directly. Right, or wrong, that is news today. My negative view on that aside, the contents of articles are accurate and often first out of the gate. This is evidenced by other publications verifying same news. Only much later.
2023-04-18 | Bob S | The previous app was generally better. Still suffers from poor application of links to articles - a human thing, not the app. Suffers from incomplete download of pages at times, with a box in the middle of a blank screen saying "Daily Mail". Needs work to make it a good app. I'm feeling generous giving 3 stars
2023-02-11 | Alan | Who is responsible for the rubbish that was released recently in the guise of an unwanted new version of Mail+? I have used Mail+ for five years on my Amazon Fire - not perfect, but useable. The latest version - which was not announced, and which was not offered in advance - is abysmally slow to load, jerky, has poor screen handling, freezes and bombs out frequently. After five years I am now seriously considering ending my Mail+ subscription as this version is practically unusable. Awful,Awful!
2022-12-29 | Jason Parkes | Excellent. If you like to read the mail then this app is a must have. It makes the rag almost impossible to read. This is definitely the best way to experience the daily mail. It's an incredibly badly realised app which makes it annoying and deeply frustrating. Improvements would be to completely black out the dreadful content but other than this is the next best thing.
2022-11-16 | Barrie Pountain | This app is dreadful. Can anyone tell me how I can read the paper in the size print that I have entered into settings. There is no way of doing it. What is the point of having that setting when I have to enlarge the text with 2 fingers which might be OK on a tablet but not on the small screen of a phone. Please sort this out or I will cancel my subscription after 50+ years of reading your paper. Barrie Pountain Samsung A320l
2022-07-24 | Herbert Morris | Very disappointing. Much much harder to navigate. And I am particularly disappointed that the Barebones crossword isn't available. I've done the Skeleton / Barebones Crossword for 0ver 50 years. It was possible to take a screen print and print it using the old App but it's impossible to even find it on the new App which doesn't show the puzzles pages.
2022-07-18 | Sandra Myland | You have updated it and it's awful! Quick Crossword not big enough on Samsung tablet! The update is no improvement at all! Reading the reviews it seems most people feel the same! Reading on a phone is even worse - do you never try things out when you change them? Have you taken on a new apprentice? Hope Daily Mail you take notice!!!! Will be looking for another newspaper app to use if things don't change!
2022-07-10 | Stuart Walton | The new app Mail+ has all the pages from a paper version so is an improvement in terms of content over the old version. The trouble is that the tablet version for Android is unstable, takes an age to download the latest issue and is a nightmare to navigate compared with the old version. In terms of navigation the Android phone version is fine but still suffers from stability and download speed. I'd happily revert to the old version if it was available.
2022-07-06 | Michael | It's a decent enough digital paper It just needs tidying up on the display, people know how to swipe left or right they do not need buttons at the bottom of the screen covering up the text to direct them to do just that. A full screen option without distractions would be good. |
