| 2024-11-22 |  | | After the latest update, getting a list of my tabs takes several minutes. It used to take about 30 seconds. Switching tabs or opening a new one during that time takes me to the middle of the list, so it is hard to find my recent tabs now. When I click on a PDF I have already downloaded, I get a warning, but no option to open the already downloaded PDF. I always have to download it again and open the new one taking up even more space on my phone. |

The folders access constantly lock up, requiring a cache/data wipe... Daily! This is over 5 years, as many versions of Android, and at least 5 different Samsung devices. |

It updated automatically and it crashes each time. For years I've used it on my Note 20 Ultra 5g and All of a sudden, Nope. Auto Passwords for Websites worst idea when the App freezes you out of everything. Glad I chose my own 99.9% of the time. Guess I'll Move To Firefox, Edge, Brave or Opera :) CCleaner just created a new browser... |
| 2024-11-19 |  | | The browser itself is like any other, I've always preferred Chrome, but sometimes on my phone in the "quick settings", where the notifications appear, the music progress bar is not accurate (either saying its over when its not, or halfway over when it started). I don't know if it's a Samsung issue, or if it's just Google, but anything else shows accurate progress. |

Initially, I had to wait about a minute before I could toggle between tab windows or even tabs in the same group, but now I can't even do that. I can have 1 window open and that's it, so Chrome is useless to me now. It's all I use, so all my previously saved/ opened tabs are gone. So frustrated |
| 2024-11-13 |  | | Probably my favorite phone internet browser. Google is pervasive and down right sneaky at many things that can help/ or possibly harm its users. They are better at documentation and transparency than they were, and better than others at synchronizing their products and helping you understand their multitude of options and storage capabilities. And how all their apps integrate & offer control for their apps and other apps on your phone. Updates have worked well for me. :) |
| 2024-11-11 |  | | As confusing as possible now. Can't easily open or navigate tabs. Menu options are hidden and hard to find. Clear cookies? Yikes. Should be 2-3 clicks - made it ridiculous. No online instructions match this layout. Even the search bar in the menu won't help. Beyond frustrating to be using other browsers to troubleshoot how to navigate this one. Like they tried to make it cute and bubbly, so allowed it to be designed without an understanding of function. |
| 2024-11-10 |  | | Unlike the desktop version, the android version still needs work. I have had a lot of lagging and crashing. This is with both WiFi and data on with good signal on both. UPDATE: DISABLED DUE TO SECURITY ISSUES. If it were an option, I would delete it from my android. Also, I had to delete the browser and reinstall to do the update. I see the corvid greed virus even is hitting stuff that before was free. |
| 2024-11-05 |  | | Chrome used to be the browser everyone wanted to copy / emulate. Was it the DEI hires? What happened? The app is the most useless app now, doesnt even work 99% of the time. Its so slow. Nothing loads anymore at all and doesnt matter if I am on a 10000000GB connection. Searching for cat takes 5 entire minutes. Multiple people, multiple devices, One App CHROME. We are looking for an alternative and once we find it Chrome is gone. It was great while it lasted. Love you Chrome. Byyyee |
| 2024-11-04 |  | | Ads keep popping up for no reason, and I went to the store to get it fixed. They couldn't fix it.just told me to pres the !!! Bar, when it pops up and it will get rid of it. It does for around 2 to ten minutes, and then it's back.If I could get rid Chrome, I would . Every time there's an up date .I lose important stuff. And just get more junk ads.😡 |
