This app was once a reliable tool that I frequently used and recommended. However, recent updates have drastically changed my experience. The introduction of ads has become overwhelming. With an ad appearing every 30 seconds, it disrupts the flow and functionality of the app. This constant interruption makes it nearly impossible to use the app effectively. Due to the excessive ads, I can no longer justify keeping this app on my device. It has gone from being a valuable resource to a frustrating.

Found a secret that is only noticeable if you use the undo button multiple times. The random placement of newly spawned 2's and 4's is not random. It actually picks the WORST place that could cause your game to get mixed up. There can be 11 spaces empty and it will place the number in the 1 spot that blocks you more than 75% of the time. 15 times in a row it can spit the same number in the exact same space. Clearly coded to make the game unfair.

This is not a game, it's shamelessly transparent ad-delivery software. It's programmed to corral the player toward a loss and, more importantly, another foreign-language Facebook ad by waiting until they are in a flow state and a high scoring game. That's when the game starts spitting out 4-tiles instead of 2s, and "accidentally" counting three swipes instead of one. This only becomes easier to see the more you play it, but honestly, don't bother at all. It's a massive waste of your time.

It provides exactly what you came for. Only issue is a small bug in which when you swipe it instantly swipes twice in 2 opposing directions and so it can mess up your count, especially if you're going for higher numbers than 2048. The bug isn't all that prevalent, so it isn't a big issue, but it would be very nice to be patched out.

As I was playing on the 8x8 gamemode (the largest available to the player), I couldn't help but notice the parallels between the game and life. There were moments where I was close to losing, but after developing a rigorous strategy, those moments became more and more finite. Sure, it wasn't all easy, but I had enough experience to know that in the end, it would all be okay. And when that end came, slowly but surely, I could rest easy knowing I had done all I could. Pretty good game.

Ads come too often. I get that they have to be there but the frequency is insane *edit* OMG I was wrong! I kept accidentally hitting the back button causing ads to trigger. New phone, my bad. You actually get a lot of play with no ads . Love the game play

I greatly enjoy this game, but it is simply too frustrating to keep playing. The game periodically glitches and registers inputs that I didn't do. It is extremely frustrating when you have a game you have spent hours on, and then suddenly the game inputs 3 random direction swipes that completely mess up your board. I just can't do it anymore.

The game is simple and fun. However, when the ads swap, it causes the actual game to lag. When it lags, you often end up inadvertently making an extra move that you didn't mean to, sometimes resulting in a game over. Also, the "Hefty" advertisement in particular causes so much lag the game is completely unplayable which is very frustrating.

Good time pass. Is it just me facing this issue or anyone else too. When I am doing too good in the game, the tabs shift twice automatically, and it happened with me multiple times. Earlier i thought i might have done it mistakenly, but how is this possible so many times. This glitch makes u feel the creator wants to screw your hardwork...!!!!!!

This is an absorbing game even for someone who's not exactly good at it! This is very similar to the game Threes (which has delightful sound effects); they play the same way. I love both because they require no math skills. I prefer this one, though, because I'm a software quality engineer so I think in these numbers anyway. There's one small drawback: the tiles 128 and up are very nearly the same color, so I sometimes miss opportunities to combine them, but thanks for the "undo" button! 💋
