UPDATE 11/2024: Developer has made changes that now require user to view the full-screen ads (benefitting the developer) -- (1) Swiping away no longer kills app like it would for most other apps. Instead you have to push stop first, which triggers ads. (2) If you push stop and then close app before ad finishes playing, app kills phone media volume. These changes serve no purpose other than to force more ad views, and dev has chosen not to offer an ad-free pay option.

I have a question. I've used this for a few months now. But I reduced the stars because since the last update I can't shut it off by swiping left anymore. It continues until I open it and hit the pause button, THEN closing it. Used to be closing it shut it off. πŸ˜’ Thanks for the reply. Now I've reduced you to 1 star. I'm not the only person who complained about it. Wow. Rude as hell. Way to listen to your users.πŸ™„

I don't know what I would do without this app. I have really bad misophonia, and this app makes it easy for me to quickly play white noise through my headphones to drown out sounds that severely affect me. There are even six different frequencies of noise to play, each coming in handy for different situations. I just wanted to say thank you for this. It's very simple, but I use it every day, it has made my life so much easier, and I can finally handle situations that I couldn't before.

4.5 stars. A really good white noise app. It has a decent number of options and you can mix various kinds of white noise together while individually controlling the volume on each type. Some of the water-related sounds could use a bit more differentiation with longer loops.

I've been using this app for more than three years, and it's helped immensely with drowning out my husband's snoring as well as just helping me fall asleep in general. The support is also outstanding: I needed a question about the app answered as soon as possible and to my amazement the tech support person emailed me immediately and walked me through the problem (which I think was of my own making; not the app's). It was amazing because I emailed the support person in the middle of the night.

My new sleep app. I used another for years that would stop during the night almost every night even when I turned my wifi off. This one goes all night as long as I turn off my wifi. (My android phone seems to try to update every night and turns off all my apps when it does. Then my sleep apps and any audio book I might have going turns off. Despite giving them all permissions in settings.

UPDATE: an audio ad started abruptly while I had gray noise on. I found it very annoying & irritating. It wouldn't stop even when I closed the app. so I uninstalled & installed some other app. Initial review: Great app. It drowns out the noisy birds among other noises. There are certain noises outside that are repetitive and loud. The app. sounds are appealing. No problems with the application. Works just fine.

Absolutely perfect. There is a timer option, but also an option for infinite play. You can layer sounds and tweak each sound's volume individually. This app has tons of ambiance options, such as white noise, yes, but also nature sounds, water sounds, rain, the inside of a plane, a car, etc. My only wish is that the app volume could go louder, as I can't turn down the volume of the music I like to play without affecting everything else. Also, a "save preset" option would be nice for the mixer.

Excellent noise app: great, mixable selection of natural sounds, machinery sounds, and colored noise sources. The fade out mode works really well, and the recent addition of independent app and system volume control has made the app much more useful. One extra thing would be very good to have -- Developers: could you add the option to save multiple mixer presets? Allowing, say, three or four save slots would let me keep my favorite carefully-crafted mix handy, and still try out others.

Having narcolepsy, falling asleep is not a problem (lol), but getting a restful sleep can be an issue. This product has been very helpful, but I have to use it sparingly. Many of the sounds are ones that I could hear during normal waking hours, and I cannot allow my body to identify those sounds with sleep or sleep will happen whenever I hear themπŸ˜•.
