2024-11-30 | Ahmed Shaban | The new updated app devices you by showing only your total credit line in the front page of your account. In order to see your available credit, you will have to choose another part of the main window. This very deceiving way to rip people out of money. This may also cause you to miss payments if you don't pay care. I wish that amex removes this update and shows the available credit on the front page of the app àlike the older versions of the app. | |

No choice but to type in my whole password every time. Other banking apps have the option to autofill or enter a pin number. This one has become useless. | |

2024-11-21 | Anthony | The app has become buggy. Multiple fraud charges from the same business from a state I've never been to. Multiple new cards having to be sent to me. The app now requires a one time pass code texted to me every single time I want to open it. Customer service has become ineffective. I am cancelling my Amex account and good riddance. | |

This has been going on for almost 48 hours now. Have tried reinstalling, clearing app cache, done everything on my end...app just not working which is frustrating because when it works it's one of the best. Took me 9 attempts to book travel yesterday as I activity was going through hotel options, it would sign me out AS I was looking at the various room etc. Very annoying, please fix! | |
2024-11-11 | Jason Rubenstein | IMHO, the best credit company and I actually do love their app. Why? Best customer experience for any credit card I've ever owned, and their app is pretty convenient. I made a purchase and was able to set up pay over time in a few mins. You can also pay indivual charges when you want to, instead of just your full balance. Some unique excellent features :) Love it Amex | |

My most frustrating experience using the app is that, while I'm on a chat with agents that are helping me, the app will log you out for inactivity, even though you are chatting with somebody helping you out. I like American Express a lot, so I am willing to work around this problem, but please look for a solution. Thanks. | |

This isn't specifically about the app, but I would like to see AMEX offer support for hardware keys. I would like to use my yubikey for 2fa authentication both online and within mobile app for a higher level of security. Current regulations may not align, but the consideration would be appreciated. |
