It's worked great for years on my phone, smart TV, and android boxes. I use it to access my local server on the same network so my daughter can watch her movies and shows. Just recently I cannot scroll down to view all my files in any particular folder. I can now only scroll a few files down until I hit the banner advertisement , then nothing. Happening on two different android boxes. It seems to work fine on my phone. Hope this gets resolved soon.

There are ads? Oh there they are in a little banner rather than blaring a fake game at you. Most importantly this allows me to find all the files on my phone. Including the ones that Google photos inexplicably can't find. It is so convenient I just use the ftp function rather than plugging my phone in for file transfers. Remote drive operation is as frictionless as a folder on the local device. Manually backing up photos I really care about to my personal NAS is simple.

The app is nearly perfect in many ways. There is one thing that is annoying about it though. The thumbnails are too small when browsing through SMB files. I wish there was a way to show media thumbnails in columns of my choice and staggered from SMB clients. Also a way to show or hide the file attributes. Instagram like grid for images and video would be great to have

BEAUTIFUL icon and UI update. They finally ditched the old Windows XP / 7 style and modernized the look of the app. Retaining the same great function. Love how you can sort your files by date/name/etc. Keep up the good work. Edit to add: For people experiencing audio/video playback issues on your phone/device, this is a per-device type thing and can be resolved by adjusting your permissions settings.

File Manager is the best out there! To my knowledge anyway. It is Great! Free and very few little ads. I'm utterly impressed with the way it was when I first opened it and seeing all of my files, images, videos and audio all neatly organized under their perspective apps. Facebook, Instagram, and messenger ECT . You name it!👌😊 💯 I'm very much so happy as can be with it. Great job guys and girls with this ONE! Shouts out to all of you that took part in the design+detail'n of this here platform!

Easy to use and has all the features average users need, though it lacks more advanced features. The UI is simple yet well done. I like the cloud services integration but it only offers about 5 cloud services to choose from. I mainly use Mega and that is not an option. Please add integration for Mega. Also download speeds from integrated cloud services is very slow, only just a few mb/s. I don't understand why downloads are so slow. If these issues are fixed, I would give 5 stars easy.

Decent app, functionally. But, it updates itself automatically, somehow, even when I have autoupdate turned off. My strong preference is that apps & developers respect my phone settings. It's my phone, not yours. There's too much of that attitude; of helping yourselves to our phones; pushing ads, and ads; changing settings without user's permissions, apps installed without our knowledge; apps that 'do something' we know nothing about, etc. Transparency is a virtue.

I used to love this as an android file manager. Unexpectedly it KEEPS AUTO STARTING!! I force stop it. Clear cache and it AUTO STARTS WHILE I LOOK!!! THIS BLOWS! There is NO reason for it to auto start AND remain resident in memory especially on portable devices!! Either fix it or I'm out. Correct me if I'm wrong but I DID pay for this. Intolerable!!

I was looking for an app that allows me to zip a file. Yours advertises that it does. I read the description. So, I download the app thinking my problems are solved. I open the app, & there's very few command options i have. I got a headache fiddling around trying to get your app to work. I have a couple suggestions for your developers. If you're going to advertise that your app does all the things your description says it does, make sure it does those things. 2nd, make it user friendly.

I love the UI & the features. The best I've seen. But it has one major problem. Copying large file to LAN drive always hits with a network error and fails and can't be copied. Large number of smaller files like pics also fails & only some will be copied. Been dealing with it for a long time, but it's time to switch now.
