2024-11-02 | Jesse Raymond | 4/2024 - Can you guys fix this. 1) retain login info. I feel the app logs me out 3-5 times per year. 2) schedule timers that were set for on will randomly switch to off, and vice-versa. A saved setting should be saved, retained, and unadjusted. This has been happening to me for over 4 years now. Neither of these are a new thing. 11/2024 - Still happening. Dropping this to a 2 star now.
2024-09-18 | Nicole Erny | Unnecessarily intrusive app for devices that are supposed to work seamlessly with Google home, but don't. My simple lighting automations fail frequently because the smart plug needs to be in touch with the device it was set up with. I use an old phone to set up my home lighting devices, and if it does for a few days thesmart plug fails. I can't help think that there are sinister reasons that this app needs to be in constant contact with my device (and location), my wifi and my smart plugs.
2024-07-10 | Travis Breckenridge | Works great until it doesn't. If there's even a slight fluctuation or loss of wifi connection or power loss the plugs go offline and my timer schedules gets messed up, and have to manually reconnect each plug and reprogram all timers. Wish I could give 5 stars because this app is actually great. But this issue is just too inconvenient to ignore. **Update** A year later and issues are still occurring more frequently as before. 1 star until fixed.
2024-01-11 | Kiwi Niwi | Super annoyed that I can't set up any of my smart plugs via this app anymore. I used this app before and everything connected so easily and quick. Now I try and set up another plug and the wifi hotspot it tells me to connect to never appears in my wifi list on my phone. Can't connect if it doesn't show up! So incredibly frustrated and done with this app.
2023-12-13 | Mike Washington (mdwash33) | Great at first, now...not so much. I have 4 wi-fi plugs that I set up. Initially, setting them up we a breeze. I just actually ordered another set to keep as backups should I need more. Well, c the day came for me to add one of them to the app and they simply will not! No matter what I try, the app will not see them in auto discovery mode, or if I try to add manually, the network for the plugs won't show either. I guess this is my sign to get rid of the ones I have and get better ones.
2023-12-11 | Trent Hutzenbuhler | Bought "Amysen" brand wifi smart outlets, the instructions say to install this app... the app will not connect to the plugs. Went through the instructions multiple times, no connection whatsoever. The app required many permissions, and would not let me get past the "scan nearby device" permission settings. Even though I allowed all such permissions, the device connection would refuse to continue.
2023-11-26 | Mike Druszcz | We have had the wifi outlets for 1 year. Mainly use them for Christmas lights/decorations. They worked perfect. We have started to use them more this past year on household lights. They worked great until we had a wifi outage. We would have to reestablish connection manually(a pain, but they still worked). About 2 weeks ago, we had another outage, but this time we couldn't reconnect any of the 4 wifi outlets. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, everything works perfect again!! Simple fix.
2023-09-05 | Ex Chris | App and plugs were working fine until a recent power outage. I was able to reconnect all but 1 plug. The one that won't reconnect can't be discovered. If I try to manually connect I'm told to connect to the plug's wifi which doesn't exist. That's not how connecting used to work so I'm wondering if the app was updated and that is causing this problem?
2023-07-16 | Mason Spardy (Mase) | I got this a few years ago for Christmas and it worked perfectly fine, now I spent over 3 hours to try and get it to connect just for it to not work, same error every time on how with auto connect it says, "is only compatible with 2.4 Ghz wifi" why not with any other wifi, especially since we now have newer technology. I also tried the manual connect, it doesn't work either because the adh_xxx_xxx wifi won't show up.
2023-03-25 | Marc Gerstein | "Firmware Update" is broken, on both IOS and Android platforms. All of the Cloud Intellence controlled smart (wifi) plugs are constantly prompting that they need a firmware update but I am not able to do it. UPDATE (3/24/23): This app is getting worse!!!! The "Firmware Update" issue was fixed but now the app no longer shows the correct ON/OFF state of the smart plug on the main "Devices" page. My smart plugs are always showing "OFF" now. |
