So, I found a 2gb folder that had copies of all my jpeg pics in it... Not sure why ..there was even new recent stuff from when I wasnt using the app. Found it using disc space explorer, and open as photo in xplore file manager. Android/data/com.alison research. paranoid. Photo cache / each file was abound 1.5mb all numbers,no file extension 2gb total. Guys website kinda talks about the virtues of data mining... It maybe somehow be a function of the app... but im not liking it

Well I originally downloaded this thinking it was Paranoid Android by Radiohead....I download all my music on the Google Play store you see. Anyways, it wasn't exactly what I thought it was....but it's still a very useful app!

Totally disappointing, and the help page is uninformative and misleading. It led me to believe that there was a way to list applications, not by specific permissions, but by any uncommonly broad and/or questionable permissions. This has just a list of abilities and selecting lists apps with permissions to do that. There's very few choices, and you can't even select a bunch of permissions to show apps matching. Android has better way to select any permission and list apps. This is useless IMHO

Thanks. Gold star. Now I'm paranoid. With no way to change that, as apparantly I am unable to find ANY means by which to change even just the 3rd app permissions on a Samsung S4 and all the built-in apps, including those rendered obsolete, refuse to be dislodged or dismantled. Oh Wo me.

Pretty good! Got it for the interpretation of complex android permissions and it didn't disappoint! I _was_ looking for a permission the author hadn't thought of - clipboard access - but I was still quite pleased. This is much easier to use than the built in permissions explorer. For each permission it covers, you can see an explanations for it, which is super useful since some of these map to things one wouldn't expect. I like this concept a lot, and hope it catches on 😊

What an incredibly thoughtful and easy-to-understand app. You know every time you download an app and you have no time to read all the consent. And even if you did to what you're signing to agree to it's in legal ease. This app breaks down exactly what each app does on your phone. In simple language. They say knowledge is power and it's also way to keep yourself a being paranoid. Thank you creators of this app . I appreciate your hard work

I really enjoyed this app and it does exactly what it says. and it does not ask you for any permissions it's only informs you of other applications on your phone that are asking for permissions that maybe a little bit suspicious and you can take a look and decide for yourself whether or notyou would like to decline permission or altogether remove the app. This was a helpful app that informed me of third-party apps that were collecting my information without me even realizing. A+ 💚

I like the app idea, but I feel like I'm overwhelmed by the fact that unless you just give up using your phone. You will never get ahead of the best offerings of Android. (sic) I wish that Samsung and Google would take a consumer friendly approach to apps and services. Fat chance that will ever happen.

Quickly check app permissions and canned reports by permission and priveledge type. . interesting what you will find.. many apps on your smartphone have unnecessary access as well as elevated priveledges that are not needed by the app in question. - why would a live wallpaper or screensaver need access to phone, contacts, gps if its only flipping pics to display. Many apps are elevated beyond need by far including some system apps.. makes short work of system priv checks and verifications. nice

This APP opened my eyes to alot of information...most of all, this APP made me aware that I don't need to give permissions for most things in the APPS permissions category. Also I figure that for items like, they can listen to me or watch me, I will just turn the permission off until the APP asks me to turn it on in order to use the APP at that time, then turn the permission back off. Great APP so far, I just used it and performed a thorough check of my phone APPS for the first time.
